1 John 5:16-17 Ἐάν (If) τις (anyone) ἴδῃ (should see) τὸν (the) ἀδελφὸν (brother) αὐτοῦ (of him) ἁμαρτάνοντα (sinning) ἁμαρτίαν (a sin) μὴ (not) πρὸς (unto) θάνατον (death), αἰτήσει (he shall ask), καὶ (and) δώσει (He will give) αὐτῷ (him) ζωήν (life), τοῖς (to those) ἁμαρτάνουσιν (sinning) μὴ (not) πρὸς (unto) θάνατον (death). ἔστιν (There is) ἁμαρτία (a sin) πρὸς (unto) θάνατον (death); οὐ (not) περὶ (concerning) ἐκείνης (that) λέγω (do I say) ἵνα (that) ἐρωτήσῃ (he should implore).
