תְּרוּמָה noun feminine contribution, offering, for sacred uses (not certain before Deuteronomy; chiefly Ezekiel, P and late) (properly something lifted off, separated); — absolute ׳ת Ezek 45:13 +; construct תְּרוּמַת Exod 30:14 +; suffix תְּרוּמָתִי Exod 25:2, מַתְכֶם- Num 18:27, מָתָם- Exod 29:28 pluralתְּרוּמוֺת Neh 12:44; Prov 29:4, מֹת- 2Sam 1:21; Num 18:19 suffix תְּרוּמֹתָ֑י vNum 18:8, etc.; —

1. earliest use: contribution of products of soil for ׳י, תְּרוּמַת יֶדְכֶם Deut 12:6; Deut 12:11, compare vDeut 12:17 also Esz Deut 20:40; Num 15:19; Num 15:20; Num 15:21.

2. contribution for prince, in Ezekiel's scheme: Ezek 45:13; Ezek 45:16

3. tract of land to be set apart for temple, and for use of priests and Levites, in Ezekiel's scheme: Ezek 45:1; Ezek 48:8; Ezek 48:9; Ezek 48:21b; called הַקֹּדֶשׁ ׳ת Ezek 45:6; Ezek 45:7 (twice in verse); Ezek 48:10; Ezek 48:18; Ezek 45:18; Ezek 45:20b; Ezek 45:21a; Ezek 45:21c; הָאָרֶץ קֹדֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁים ׳ת vEzek 45:12.

6. half-shekel for maintaining service of sanctuary Exod 30:13; Exod 30:14; Exod 30:15.

7. late, contribution, in general, אִישׁ תְּרוּמוֺת Prov 29:4 a man of contributions, i.e. demanding them, = man of exactions. — ׳תּ Isa 40:20 of idol-image (si vera lectio), so still Di-Kit; read perhaps תְּמוּנָה ᵐ5 (ὁμοίωμα vIsa 40:19) Du; other conjectures in Che^Hpt, see also III.
