Niph`al reciprocal struggle with each other: Imperfect 3 masculine plural יִנָּצוּ Exod 21:22 (E), Lev 24:10 (H), 2Sam 14:6 ׳יִנּ יַחְדָּו Deut 25:11 Participle נִצִּים Exod 2:13 (E); all of physical struggle, wrestling, and the like. Hiph`il engage in a struggle against: Perfect 3 plural הִצּוּ Num 26:9 (עַל); Infinitive construct suffix הַצֹּתָם vNum 26:9 (עַל); הַצּוֺתוֺ אֶת Ps 60:2 (title); only here of war, hence Klo's suggestion (compare Buhl13) הַכּוֺתוֺ is plausible (compare 2Sam 8:3; 2Sam 8:5; 2Sam 8:9).
