מַחֲבַת noun feminine flat plate, pan, or griddle for baking, only P and late; absolute ׳מ Lev 2:5 + 2 t.; מַחֲבַ֑ת Lev 7:9 construct מַחֲבַת Ezek 4:3 —

1. used in preparing the (baken) mincha, preceded by עַלֿ Lev 2:5; Lev 6:14; Lev 7:9 (all P), compare 1Chr 23:29.

2. בַּרְזֶל ׳מ Ezek 4:3 a plate of iron, signifying an iron wall, in prediction of siege of city.
