II. בַּד, בָּ֑ד noun masculine separation, concrete part (, portion) — suffix (always with לְ) לְבַדִּי, לְבַדּוֺ etc., 3 feminine plural Gen 21:28 לְבַדְּהֶן, vGen 21:29 לְבַדָּ֫נָה; —

1. with לְ, only in singular, לְבַד properly in a state of (see below לְ) separation, alone, by itself (French à part).
\ \ a. Exod 26:9 (= Exod 36:16) five curtains לְבַד by themselves, and six curtains לְבַד by themselves, Judg 7:5 him shalt thou set לבד apart, Zech 12:12-14.
