Niph`al Imperfect יִנָּזֵר Ezek 14:7, וַיִנָּזֵר Lev 22:2 וַיִּנָָּֽזְרוּ Hos 9:10 Infinitive absolute הִנָּזֵר Zech 7:3devote, dedicate oneself unto (ל), הַבּשֶׁת, i.e. Ba`al Hos 9:10 from (מִן) ׳י Ezek 14:7 (of apostasy); hold sacredly aloof from, (מִן) Lev 22:2 (H); absolute Zech 7:3 consecrating my(self ), i.e. by fasting. Hiph`il Perfect מִטֻּמְאָתָם ׳וְהִזֵּרְתֶּם אֶתבְּֿנֵייִֿשׂ Lev 15:31 (P) and ye shall keep the sons of Israel sacredly separate from their uncleanness (but read perhaps וְהִזְהַרְתָּם warn away from — as Ezek 3:18; Ezek 33:8; Ezek 33:9, — so ᵐ5 — as to sense — Di Kau). — See also II.
