חָדִיד proper name, of a location in Benjamin, mentioned with לֹד and אוֺנוֺ Ezra 2:33 = Neh 7:37 with these and other places Neh 11:34 probably = Ἀδιδά 1 Macc 12:38, Ἀδίδοις 13:13; modern El-„adite approximately 3 1/4 miles north of east from Lydda, Guérin^{Judée i. 320} (compare Rob^{RR iii. 143}).
