Anderson⁽ⁱ⁾ ²² But when the attendants came, and found them not in the prison, they returned and reported, ²³ saying: "We found the prison closed with all safety, and the guards standing before the doors; but when we had opened, we found no one within. ²⁴ When the priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were in doubt about them, what this could mean. ²⁵ And some one came and reported to them: Behold, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
