ACV⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁵ And having entered into the temple, he began to cast out those selling and buying in it, ⁴⁶ saying to them, It is written, My house is a house of prayer, but ye made it a den of robbers. ⁴⁷ And he was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, and the scholars sought to destroy him, even the foremost men of the people. ⁴⁸ And they did not find what they might do, for the people all hung upon him, listening.
