ABU(i)
31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, and the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
32 And he spoke that saying openly. And Peter, taking him aside, began to rebuke him.
33 But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, saying: Get thee behind me, Satan; for thou thinkest not the things of God, but those of men.
34 And calling to him the multitude, with his disciples, he said to them: Whoever desires to follow after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
35 For whoever will save his life shall lose it; but whoever shall lose his life, for the sake of me and of the glad tidings, shall save it.
36 For what will it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
37 Or what shall a man give as an exchange for his soul?
38 For whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will also the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
9 1 AND he said to them: Verily I say to you, that there are some of those standing here, who shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God already come with power.
