¹⁷ so that if any one is in Christ—he is a new creature; the old things did pass away, lo, become new have the all things.

⁹ him, whose presence is according to the working of the Adversary, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and in all deceitfulness of the unrighteousness in those perishing, because the love of the truth they did not receive for their being saved,

¹⁷ so then the faith is by a report, and the report through a saying of God,

¹ And this know thou, that in the last days there shall come perilous times, ² for men shall be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, evil-speakers, to parents disobedient, unthankful, unkind, ³ without natural affection, implacable, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, not lovers of those who are good, ⁴ traitors, heady, lofty, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God,

¹¹ put on the whole armour of God, for your being able to stand against the wiles of the devil,

²⁴ and immediately the father of the child, having cried out, with tears said, `I believe, sir; be helping mine unbelief.'

⁷ because the mind of the flesh is enmity to God, for to the law of God it doth not subject itself,

⁷ always learning, and never to a knowledge of truth able to come,

³ for there shall be a season when the sound teaching they will not suffer, but according to their own desires to themselves they shall heap up teachers—itching in the hearing, ⁴ and indeed, from the truth the hearing they shall turn away, and to the fables they shall be turned aside.
