Bible verses about "corruption" | Webster

Deuteronomy 31:25-29

25 That Moses commanded the Levites who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, 26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. 27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death? 28 Assemble to me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. 29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.

Psalms 16:10

10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption.

John 16:33

33 These things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye will have tribulation, but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world.

Acts 13:34-37

34 And as concerning that he raised him from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. 35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou wilt not suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. 36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, and was laid to his fathers, and saw corruption: 37 But he whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

Acts 2:27

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption:

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also are transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

2 Peter 1:4

4 Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
