John 15:6

6 If any one continues not in me he is cast without as a branch, and is withered; and they collect them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Galatians 6:2

2 Bear one another's burdens, and so perform the law of Christ.

1 Timothy 2:1-15

1 (1:4) I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings should be offered for all men, 2 for kings and all in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives in all piety and sanctity. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, 4 who wishes all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator of God and man, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself a ransom for all, a testimony for its own times, 7 of which I was made a herald and an apostle,—I speak the truth, I lie not,—a teacher of nations in faith and truth. 8 (1:5) I wish also that men should pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputations; 9 and in like manner also, that women in becoming apparel with modesty and sobriety adorn themselves, not with plaited hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly clothing, 10 but with good works, which become women professing godliness. 11 Let a woman learn quietly in all subjection; 12 but I permit not a woman to teach, nor to have authority over a man, but to be quiet. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived; but the woman being deceived fell into transgression; 15 but she shall be saved through child-bearing, if they continue in faith, and love, and holiness, with sobriety.

James 3:6

6 And the tongue is a fire, the tongue is made a world of wickedness among our members, it defiles the whole body and sets on fire the course of nature and is set on fire by hell.

1 Peter 2:1-25

1 (1:5) Laying aside therefore all malice and all deceit and hypocrisies and envies and all evil speakings, 2 as new born babes desire earnestly the pure milk of the word, that you may grow by it to salvation, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. 4 To whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed by men but approved by God, elect, precious, 5 do you also yourselves be built up living stones, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices well pleasing to God through Jesus Christ, 6 for it is said in the Scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious, and he that believes on him shall not be ashamed. 7 To you therefore who believe he is precious; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders rejected has become the head of a corner 8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offense, who stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed. 9 But you are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should declare the virtues of him who called you out of darkness into his glorious light; 10 who formerly were not a people, but now are a people of God, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 11 (2:1) BELOVED, I exhort you as strangers and foreigners, abstain from carnal desires, which war against the soul, 12 having your conduct honorable among the gentiles, that wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, from the good works which they see they may glorify God in the day of visitation, 13 (2:2) Be subject therefore to every human government, for the Lord's sake, whether to the king, as superior, 14 to governors, sent by him for the punishment of evil doers and the praise of those who do well; 15 for this is the will of God, that by well-doing you may silence the ignorance of foolish men; 16 as free, and not using freedom for a cloak of vice, but as servants of God. 17 Honor all men, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king. 18 (2:3) Let servants be subject with all fear to masters, not only to the good and gentle but also to the perverse. 19 For this deserves thanks, if on account of a knowledge of God one endures pain, suffering unjustly. 20 For what glory is it if when you sin and are punished you bear it patiently? But if you do well and suffer and bear it patiently, [this deserves thanks], for it is acceptable to God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you a copy that you should follow his steps, 22 who committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth, 23 who being reviled reviled not, suffering threatened not, but committed himself to him that judges righteously, 24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, that we having died to sins, may live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. 25 For you were like lost sheep, but are now returned to the shepherd and bishop of your souls.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

1 (6:5) If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not love, I am a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal. 2 And if I have prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. 3 And if I deal out all my property to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, and have not love, I shall not be profited. 4 (6:6) Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love is not boastful, is not puffed up, 5 does not behave unbecomingly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, devises not evil, 6 rejoices not in wickedness, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes for all things, and endures all things. 8 (6:7) Love never fails; but if there are prophecies, they shall pass away; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it shall pass away. 9 And we know in part and we prophesy in part; 10 when the perfect has come, that which is in part shall pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I became a man I put away childish things. 12 For now we see by a mirror darkly, but then we shall see face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully as I also am known. 13 And now remain faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Matthew 5:22

22 But I tell you, that every one who is angry with his brother shall be subject to the judgment; and whoever says to his brother, Worthless fellow, shall be subject to the Sanhedrim; and whoever says, You fool, shall be subject to the hell of fire.
