Bible verses about "rudeness" | RKJNT

John 15:6

6 If a man does not abide in me, he is thrown away as a branch, and withers; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Galatians 6:2

2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

1 Timothy 2:1-15

1 Therefore I urge, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all who are in authority; that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who desires all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time. 7 And for this I have been appointed a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ and am not lying;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 8 Therefore, I want men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or dissension. 9 In like manner also, let women adorn themselves in proper apparel, modestly and soberly; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly attire; 10 But with good works, as becomes women professing godliness. 11 Let a woman learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not allow a woman to teach, or to have authority over a man; she must keep silent. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve; 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 15 Yet women shall be kept safe through childbirth, if they continue in faith and love and holiness with propriety.

James 3:6

6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity among our members. It defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the whole course of life; and is itself set on fire by hell.

1 Peter 2:1-25

1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisy, and envy, and all kinds of slander, 2 As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow by it in your salvation: 3 Since you have tasted the kindness of the Lord. 4 Coming to him as to a living stone, rejected by men, but chosen by God, and precious, 5 You also, as living stones, are being built up into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For this is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a cornerstone, chosen and precious: and he who believes in him shall not be put to shame. 7 Therefore, to you who believe, he is precious: but to those who disbelieve, the stone which the builders rejected has become the very cornerstone, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence; they stumble at the word, being disobedient: as they were appointed to do. 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God; that you should declare the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 10 In times past you were not a people, but now you are the people of God: once you had not obtained mercy, but now you have obtained mercy. 11 Dearly beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers, abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul. 12 Conduct yourselves righteously among the Gentiles: that, though they speak against you as evildoers, they may behold your good works and glorify God on the day of visitation. 13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme authority; 14 Or to governors, as to those who are sent by him to punish evildoers, and to praise those who do well. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 Live as free men, not using your liberty as a cloak for evil, but live as the servants of God. 17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. 18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the perverse. 19 For this is commendable, if for the sake of conscience toward God, a man endures sorrow while suffering wrongfully. 20 For what credit is there, if, when you are beaten for your wrongs, you endure it patiently? but if, when you do well, and suffer for it, you endure it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps. 22 He committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in his mouth; 23 And when he was reviled, he did not revile in return; and when he suffered, he did not threaten; but committed himself to him who judges righteously. 24 He himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray; but you have now returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become a noisy gong, or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so that I can remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And if I give all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, and is kind; love does not envy; love does not boast, and is not arrogant; 5 It is not rude, does not insist on its own way, is not easily provoked, it keeps no account of wrongs suffered; 6 It does not rejoice in injustice, but rejoices in the truth; 7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails: but where there are prophecies, they shall pass away; where there are tongues, they shall cease; where there is knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect comes, then that which is partial shall pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Matthew 5:22

22 But I say to you, That whoever is angry with his brother shall be in danger of judgment: and whoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of the hell of fire.
