Habakkuk 3:17-19

17 For the fygge trees shall not be grene, & the vynes shall beare no frute. The laboure of the olyue shalbe but lost, & the lande shall bringe no corne: the shepe shalbe taken oute of the fold & there shalbe no catel in the stalles. 18 But as for me, I wyll be glad in the Lorde, and wyll reioyce in God my sauyoure. 19 The Lord God is my strengthe, he shall make my fete as the fete of hertes: and he whiche geueth the vyctorye, shal bryng me to my hye places, synging vpon my psalmes.

Romans 12:19

19 Derely beloued auenge not youre selues, but geue roume vnto the wrathe of God. For it is wrytten: vengeaunce is myne, and I wyll rewarde sayeth the Lorde.

Psalms 34:18

18 The Lorde is nye vnto them that are contryte in hert, and will helpe suche as be of an humble sprete.

John 16:33

33 These wordes haue I spoken vnto you, that in me you myght haue peace. For in the worlde shall you haue tribulacyon: but be of good cheare. I haue ouercome the worlde.
