⁴ Though I should walke now in the valley of the shadow of death, yet I feare not euel for thou arte with me: thy staffe & thy shepehoke comforte me.

⁵⁵ For my flesh is meate in dede, and my bloude is drinke in dede. ⁵⁶ He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my bloude, dwelt in me and I in him. ⁵⁷ As the liuinge father hath sent me, euen so lyue I by my father, and he that eateth me shall lyue by me. ⁵⁸ This is the bread which came from heauen: not as your fathers haue eaten Manna and are dead. He that eateth of this breade, shall lyue euer. ⁵⁹ These thinges sayed he in the synagoge as he taught in Capernaum. ⁶⁰ Many therfore of his disciples, when they had hearde this, sayd this is anhearde saiynge: who can abide the hearinge of it? ⁶¹ Iesus knewe in him selfe, that his disciples murmured at it, and sayde vnto them: Doth this offende you? ⁶² What and if ye shall se the sonne of man ascende vp wher he was before? ⁶³ It is the spirite that quickeneth, the flesh proffetteth nothing. The wordes that I speake vnto you, are spirite and lyfe. ⁶⁴ But there are some of you that beleue not. For Iesus knewe from the beginninge, which they were that beleued not, and wo should betraye him.

⁶ Be not carefull: but in all thinges shewe your petition vnto God in prayer and supplication, wyth geuinge of thankes. ⁷ And the peace of God, whiche passeth al vnderstandynge, kepe your hertes and myndes in Chryste Iesu.

²⁸ Wherfore yf we receyue a kingdom which is not moued, we haue grace, wherby we may serue God, and please hym wyth reuerence & Godly feare.

¹² for the whiche cause I also suffer these thinges. Neuerthelesse I am not ashamed. For I know whom I haue beleued, and am sure that he is able to kepe that whiche I haue commytted to hys kepyng, agaynst that daye.

¹⁴ And this is the truste that we haue in him, that yf we axe any thinge, accordinge to hys will he heareth vs.

¹⁶ The same spirite certifieth oure spirite that we are the sonnes of God.

¹⁸ My babes, let vs not loue in worde neyther in tonge, but wyth the dede and in veryty: ¹⁹ For therby we know that we are of the verytye, and can before him quyete oure hertes. ²⁰ But if our hertes condempne vs, God is greater then our hertes, and knoweth all thinges. ²¹ Beloued, yf our hertes condempne vs not, then haue we trust to Godward, ²² and whatsoeuer we are, we shall receiue of him, because we kepe his commaundementes, and do these thinges, which are pleasyng in hys sight.

¹³ These thinges haue I wryten vnto you, that beleue on the name of the sonne of God, that ye maye know, how that ye haue eternal lyfe, and that ye may beleue on the name of the sonne of God.

³⁶ He that beleueth on the sonne, hath euerlasting life, and he that beleueth not the sonne shall not se life: but the wrath of God abydeth on him.

¹² Happy is the man that endureth in temptacyon, for when he is tryed, he shal receyue the croune of lyfe, which the Lorde hath promised to them that loue hym.

¹¹ And manye false prophetes shall aryse, and shall deceyue manye. ¹² And because iniquite shall haue the vpper hande the loue of manye shall abate. ¹³ But he that endureth to the ende, the same shall be safe.
