⁴⁴ You are of your father the devil, and you wish to do the lusts of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stood not in the truth, because there was no truth in him. When he may speak a lie, he speaks of his own: because he is a liar, and the father of the same.

⁸ But to the cowardly, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and the murderers, and the fornicators, and the sorcerers, and the idolaters, and all liars, shall be their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in the least is also faithful in much: and he that is unrighteous in the least is unrighteous in much. ¹¹ If therefore you were not faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will intrust to you the true? ¹² If you were not faithful in the interest of another, who will give you your own? ¹³ No servant is able to serve two masters: for he will hate the one, and love the other; or he will cleave to the one, and despise the other. You are not able to serve God and mammon.
