³⁶ Iesus aunswered: My kyngdome is not of this worlde. Yf my kyngdome were of this worlde, then woulde my seruauntes surely fyght, that I shoulde not be deliuered to the Iewes: but now is my kyngdome not from hence

¹⁵ Yf ye byte and deuoure one another, take heede lest ye be consumed one of another

¹⁰ Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lorde, & in the power of his might ¹¹ Put on all the armour of God, that ye may stande agaynst the assaultes of the deuyll ¹² For we wrastle not agaynst blood & flesshe: but agaynst rule, agaynst power, agaynst worldly gouernours of the darknesse of this worlde, agaynst spirituall craftynesse in heauenly [places. ¹³ Wherfore take vnto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the euyll day, and hauing finished all thynges, to stande fast ¹⁴ Stande therfore, hauyng loynes girt about with the trueth, and puttyng on the brest plate of righteousnesse ¹⁵ And hauyng your feete shodde, in the preparation of the Gospell of peace ¹⁶ Aboue all, takyng the shielde of fayth, wherwith ye may quenche all the fierie dartes of the wicked ¹⁷ And take the helmet of saluation, and the sworde of the spirite, whiche is the worde of God ¹⁸ Praying alwayes in all prayer and supplication in the spirite, and watche thervnto with all instaunce and supplication, for all saintes ¹⁹ And for me, that vtteraunce may be geue vnto me, yt I may open my mouth freely, to vtter ye secretes of the Gospell ²⁰ Whereof I am messenger in bondes, that therein I may speake freely, as I ought to speake

¹ Dearly beloued, beleue not euery spirite: but proue the spirites whether they are of God or not: for many false prophetes are gone out into the worlde

⁹ If we knowledge our sinnes, he is faythfull & iust to forgeue vs our sinnes, and to clense vs from all vnryghteousnesse

⁴ And God shall wype away all teares from their eyes: and there shalbe no more death, neither sorowe, neither crying, neither shall there be any more payne, for the former thynges are gone

¹⁹ The deedes of the flesshe are manifest, which are these, adulterie, fornication, vncleannesse, wantonnesse ²⁰ Worshippyng of images, witchcrafte, hatred, variaunce, zeale, wrath, strife, seditions, sectes ²¹ Enuyinges, murthers, drunkennesse, gluttonies, and such lyke: of the whiche I tell you before, as I haue tolde you in tyme past, that they which do suche thinges, shall not inherite the kingdome of God ²² But the fruite of the spirite is, loue, ioye, peace, long sufferyng, gentlenesse, goodnesse, fayth ²³ Mekenesse, temperauncie: agaynst such there is no lawe ²⁴ They truely that are Christes, haue crucified the flesshe, with the affections and lustes

¹⁷ Recompensyng to no man euyll for euyll. Prouydyng afore hande thynges honest, [not only before God, but also] in the syght of all men

³⁶ But I say vnto you, of euery idell worde that men shall speake, they shall geue accompt therof, in the day of iudgment ³⁷ For of thy wordes, thou shalt be iustified: and of thy wordes, thou shalt be condemned
