Bible verses about "fruitfulness" | ALT

Galatians 6:7-8

7 Stop being led astray [fig., being deceived]: God is not mocked! For whatever a person shall be sowing, this also he will reap. 8 Because the one sowing to his own flesh from the flesh will reap corruption [fig., moral ruin], but the one sowing to the Spirit from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Philippians 1:6

6 having been confident [or, persuaded] of this very [thing], that the One having begun a good work in youp will complete [or, perfect] [it] until [the] day of Christ Jesus;

2 Timothy 3:16

16 All Scripture [is] God-breathed and [is] beneficial for teaching [or, doctrine], for verification [or, reproof], for correcting faults, for instruction in righteousness [or, the behavior that God requires],

2 Timothy 2:15

15 Be eager [or, diligent] to present yourself approved to God [as] a worker with no need to be ashamed, cutting straight [fig., teaching accurately; or, interpreting correctly] the word of truth.

2 Corinthians 13:5

5 Be testing yourselves, if youp are in the faith; be examining yourselves. Youp yourselves know that Jesus Christ is in youp, do youp not?— unless youp fail to meet the test.

James 1:6

6 But let him be asking in faith, doubting nothing. For the one doubting has been likened to a wave of the sea, being driven by wind and tossed about.

Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace [or, freedom from anxiety], patience, kindness, goodness [or, generosity], faith, 23 gentleness [or, considerateness], self-control. Against such there is no law.

James 2:14-26

14 What [is] the advantage, my brothers [and sisters], if someone is saying he has faith but is not having works? Such faith is not able to save him, is it? 15 Now if a brother or sister is naked [or, poorly dressed] and is lacking of the daily food, 16 yet any of youp says to them, "Be going away in peace; be keeping yourselves warm and well fed," but does not give to them the necessary [things] of the body, what [is] the advantage? 17 So also such faith, if it is not having works, is dead [fig., utterly useless] by itself. 18 But someone will say, "You have faith and I have works." [But I say], "Show to me your faith [apart] from your works, and I will show to you my faith by means of my works." 19 You believe [or, are convinced] that God is one; you do well. The demons also believe— and they shudder [with fear]! 20 But are you willing to recognize, O empty [fig., foolish] person, that such faith without such works is dead? 21 Abraham our father, he was justified [or, shown to be righteous] by means of works, having offered Isaac his son upon the altar, was he not? [Gen. 22:9] 22 Do you see that his faith was working together with his works, and by means of the works his faith was perfected? 23 And [so] was fulfilled the Scripture, the one saying, "But Abraham believed [or, trusted] God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called a friend of God. [Gen 15:6; Isaiah 41:8] 24 So youp see that a person is justified [or, shown to be righteous] by means of works and not by means of faith only. 25 So likewise also Rahab the prostitute was justified [or, shown to be righteous] by means of works, having welcomed the messengers and having sent [them] out by a different way, was she not? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also one's faith without such works is dead.

John 15:1-27

1 "I am the true grapevine, and My Father is the vineyard keeper. 2 "Every branch in Me not bearing fruit, He takes it away [or, lifts it up]; and every [branch] bearing fruit, He prunes clean, so that it shall be bearing more fruit. 3 "Already youp are pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to youp. 4 "Abide in Me, and I in youp. Just as the branch is not able to be bearing fruit by itself unless it shall be abiding in the vine, so neither youp, unless youp shall be abiding in Me. 5 "I am the vine; youp [are] the branches. The one abiding in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit, because apart from Me youp are not able to be doing anything. 6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he was thrown out as the branch and was withered. And they gather them and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned. 7 "If youp abide in Me, and My sayings abide in youp, youp will ask whatever youp desire, and it will happen to youp. 8 "In this was My Father glorified, that youp shall be bearing much fruit, and youp will become My disciples. 9 "Just as the Father loved Me, I also loved youp; abide in My love. 10 "If youp keep My commandments, youp will abide in My love; just as I have kept the commandments of My Father, and I abide in His love. 11 "These things I have spoken to youp so that My joy shall abide in youp, and yourp joy shall be made full. 12 "This is My commandment, that youp shall be loving one another just as I loved youp. 13 "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life on behalf of his friends. 14 "Youp are My friends, if youp are doing whatever I command youp. 15 "No longer do I call youp slaves, because the slave does not know what his lord does. But I have called youp friends because all which I heard from My Father, I made known to youp. 16 "Youp did not choose Me, but I chose youp and appointed youp, so that youp shall be going away and bearing fruit, and yourp fruit shall be abiding, so that whatever youp ask of the Father in My name, He shall be giving to youp. 17 "These things I command youp, so that youp shall be loving one another. 18 "If the world hates youp, youp know that it has hated Me before youp. 19 "If youp were from the world, the world would be affectionately loving its own. But because youp are not from the world, but I chose youp out of the world, for this reason the world hates youp. 20 "Be remembering the word which I said to youp, 'A slave is not greater than his lord.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute youp. If My word they kept, yoursp also they will keep. 21 "But they will do all these things to youp on account of My name, because they do not know the One having sent Me. 22 "If I did not come and did not speak to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 "The one hating Me, also hates My Father. 24 "If I did not do among them the works which no other has done, they would not have sin, but now they have both seen and have hated both Me and My Father. 25 "But [this happened] so that the word shall be fulfilled, the one having been written in their Law, 'They hated Me without a cause.' [Psalm 69:4] 26 "But when the Counselor [or, Helper] comes, whom I will send to youp from the Father, the Spirit of the truth, who proceeds from the Father, that One will testify concerning Me. 27 "And youp also testify [or, be testifying], because youp are with Me from the beginning.
