²⁸ For this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many, for remission of sins.

⁷ but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

²² And nearly all things are cleansed according to the law with blood; and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
