³⁴ who is he that is condemning? Christ is He that died, yea, rather also, was raised up; who is also on the right hand of God -- who also does intercede for us.

²⁸ even as the Son of Man did not come to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.'

¹⁹ The Lord, then, indeed, after speaking to them, was received up to the heaven, and sat on the right hand of God;

¹⁹ yet a little, and the world does no more behold me, and you behold me, because I live, and you shall live;

²³ and in that day you will question me nothing; verily, verily, I say to you, as many things as you may ask of the Father in my name, He will give you;

²⁶ 'In that day, in my name you will make request, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father for you, ²⁷ for the Father himself does love you, because me you have loved, and you have believed that I from God came forth;

²⁰ 'And not in regard to these alone do I ask, but also in regard to those who shall be believing, through their word, in me; ²¹ that they all may be one, as You Father art in me, and I in You; that they also in us may be one, that the world may believe that You did send me. ²² 'And I, the glory that you have given to me, have given to them, that they may be one as we are one; ²³ I in them, and You in me, that they may be perfected into one, and that the world may know that You did send me, and did love them as You did love me. ²⁴ 'Father, those whom You have given to me, I will that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory that You did give to me, because You did love me before the foundation of the world.

⁵⁶ and he said, 'Lo, I see the heavens having been opened, and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God.' ⁵⁷ And they, having cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and did rush with one accord upon him, ⁵⁸ and having cast him forth outside of the city, they were stoning him -- and the witnesses did put down their garments at the feet of a young man called Saul -- ⁵⁹ and they were stoning Stephen, calling and saying, 'Lord Jesus, receive my spirit;' ⁶⁰ and having bowed the knees, he cried with a loud voice, 'Lord, may you not lay to them this sin;' and this having said, he fell asleep.

²⁵ who was delivered up because of our offences, and was raised up because of our being declared righteous.

⁶ For in our being still ailing, Christ in due time did die for the impious; ⁷ for scarcely for a righteous man will any one die, for the good man perhaps some one also does dare to die; ⁸ and God does commend His own love to us, that, in our being still sinners, Christ did die for us; ⁹ much more, then, having been declared righteous now in his blood, we shall be saved through him from the wrath; ¹⁰ for if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved in his life.

¹ There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit;

²⁷ and He who is searching the hearts has known what is the mind of the Spirit, because according to God he does intercede for saints.

⁹ for because of this Christ both died and rose again, and lived again, that both of dead and of living he may be Lord.

¹³ no longer, therefore, may we judge one another, but this judge you rather, not to put a stumbling-stone before the brother, or an offence.

¹³ Christ did redeem us from the curse of the law, having become for us a curse, for it has been written, 'Cursed is every one who is hanging on a tree,' ¹⁴ that to the nations the blessing of Abraham may come in Christ Jesus, that the promise of the Spirit we may receive through the faith.

¹ If, then, you were raised with the Christ, the things above seek you, where the Christ is, on the right hand of God seated,

³ who being the brightness of the glory, and the impress of His subsistence, bearing up also the all things by the saying of his might -- through himself having made a cleansing of our sins, sat down at the right hand of the greatness in the highest,

¹⁴ Having, then, a great chief priest passed through the heavens -- Jesus the Son of God -- may we hold fast the profession, ¹⁵ for we have not a chief priest unable to sympathize with our infirmities, but one tempted in all things in like manner -- apart from sin;

²⁵ whence also he is able to save to the very end, those coming through him unto God -- ever living to make intercession for them.

¹ And the sum concerning the things spoken of is: we have such a chief priest, who did sit down at the right hand of the throne of the greatness in the heavens, ² of the holy places a servant, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord did set up, and not man,

¹⁰ only in victuals, and drinks, and different baptisms, and fleshly ordinances -- till the time of reformation imposed upon them. ¹¹ And Christ being come, chief priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands -- that is, not of this creation -- ¹² neither through blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, did enter in once into the holy places, age-during redemption having obtained; ¹³ for if the blood of bulls, and goats, and ashes of an heifer, sprinkling those defiled, does sanctify to the purifying of the flesh, ¹⁴ how much more shall the blood of the Christ (who through the age-during Spirit did offer himself unblemished to God) purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

²⁴ for not into holy places made with hands did the Christ enter -- figures of the true -- but into the heaven itself, now to be manifested in the presence of God for us;

¹⁰ in the which will we are having been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once, ¹¹ and every priest, indeed, has stood daily serving, and the same sacrifices many times offering, that are never able to take away sins. ¹² And He, for sin one sacrifice having offered -- to the end, did sit down on the right hand of God, -- ¹³ as to the rest, expecting till He may place his enemies as his footstool, ¹⁴ for by one offering he has perfected to the end those sanctified;

¹⁹ Having, therefore, brethren, boldness for the entrance into the holy places, in the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ which way he did initiate for us -- new and living, through the vail, that is, his flesh -- ²¹ and a high priest over the house of God, ²² may we draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, having the hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having the body bathed with pure water;

¹ Therefore, we also having so great a cloud of witnesses set around us, every weight having put off, and the closely besetting sin, through endurance may we run the contest that is set before us, ² looking to the author and perfecter of faith -- Jesus, who, over-against the joy set before him -- did endure a cross, shame having despised, on the right hand also of the throne of God did sit down;

¹⁸ because also Christ once for sin did suffer -- righteous for unrighteous -- that he might lead us to God, having been put to death indeed, in the flesh, and having been made alive in the spirit,

²² who is at the right hand of God, having gone on to heaven -- messengers, and authorities, and powers, having been subjected to him.

¹ My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin: and if any one may sin, an advocate we have with the Father, Jesus Christ, a righteous one, ² and he -- he is a propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world,

¹⁸ and he who is living, and I did become dead, and, lo, I am living to the ages of the ages. Amen! and I have the keys of the hades and of the death.
