¹⁴ And God has raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his power.

²⁸ Do not marvel at this: for the hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs shall hear his voice, ²⁹ And shall come forth; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.

³⁹ And this is the will of him who sent me, that of all he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up on the last day. ⁴⁰ And this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son, and believes in him, may have eternal life: and I will raise him up on the last day.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live: ²⁶ And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?

²⁴ But God has raised him up, having freed him from the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held by it.

³¹ Because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness, by a man whom he has ordained; and he has given assurance of this to all men by raising him from the dead.

⁴ Therefore, we were buried with him by baptism into death: so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also might walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have been united with him by sharing a death like his, so shall we also share a resurrection like his: ⁶ Knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should no longer be enslaved by sin. ⁷ For he who has died is freed from sin. ⁸ Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

¹¹ And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies by his Spirit who dwells in you.

¹⁵ Yea, and we are found to be false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ, whom he has raised not up, if it is true that the dead do not rise. ¹⁶ For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised: ¹⁷ And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is in vain; you are still in your sins. ¹⁸ Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. ¹⁹ If for this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. ²⁰ But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first-fruits of those who sleep.

²³ But every man in his own order: Christ the first-fruits; afterward those who are Christ's at his coming.

¹⁴ Knowing that he who raised up the Lord Jesus shall also raise us up with Jesus, and shall present us with you in his presence.

¹⁹ And what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe. It is the working of his mighty power, ²⁰ Which he exerted in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

¹⁰ That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death; ¹¹ If only I might attain to the resurrection of the dead.

²¹ Who shall change our lowly body, that it may be fashioned like his glorious body, by the power which enables him even to subject all things to himself.

¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus.
