2 Peter 3:5 Cross References - NSB

⁵ For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God,

⁶ Then God said: »Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters. Let it separate the waters from the waters.«

⁹ Then God said: »Let the waters below the atmosphere be gathered into one place. Let the dry land appear.« It was so.

⁶ The heavens were made by the word of Jehovah, and by the breath of his mouth their entire host.

² For He has ordained it upon the seas and decreed it upon the rivers.

⁶ To him who spread out the earth above the waters. His loving kindness is everlasting.

¹⁶ Is there a price in the hand of a fool to buy wisdom? He has no sense!

¹⁹ »This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world. People loved the darkness rather than the light for their works were evil. ²⁰ »Every one who does evil hates the light. He does not come to the light because his works would be reproved.

²⁸ They did not like to retain God in their knowledge, so God gave them over to a reprobate (depraved) mind, to do things that are not fitting.

¹⁷ He is before all things, and through him all things originate.

¹⁰ He will use every kind of wicked deceit on those who will perish. They will perish because they did not welcome and love the truth so as to be saved. ¹¹ So God dispatches the power of deceit (error) to work in them so that they are allowed to believe what is false. ¹² Then everyone who did not believe the truth, but was delighted with wickedness, will be condemned.

³ By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the Word of God. The visible has been made out of things that were not visible.
