³ whether they be males or females ye shall put them oute of the hoste, that they defyle not the tentes among whych ye dwell.

¹¹ I wyll make my dwellynge place amonge you, and my Soule shall not loth you. ¹² And I wyll walke amonge you and wyll be your God, and ye shalbe mi people.

²² And whatsoeuer the vncleane person toucheth, shal be vncleane. And the soule that toucheth it shal be vncleane vntil the euen.

³⁴ Defyle not therfore the land whyche ye inhabyte, and in the myddes of whych I also dwel among the chyldren of Israel.

¹⁴ For the Lorde thy god walketh in thyne host, to ryd the and to set thyne enemyes before the. Let thyne host be pure, that he se no vncleane thyng among you and turne from you.

³ And the rouffe was Cedar aboue an hye vpon the beames that lay an hye on the pyllers, whiche pyllers were fourtye & fyue in nombre, fyftene on a rowe,

¹⁸ Thou art gone vp an hye, thou hast ledde captiuitie captiue, and receyued gyftes for men: Yea, euen for thyne enemyes, that they might dwell with the Lord God.

⁶ Crye oute, and be glad, thou that dwellest in Sion, for greate is thy prince, the holy one of Israell.

¹³ Then sayde aggeus: Nowe yf one being defyled with a dead carcase, touche anye of these: shall it also be vncleane. ¹⁴ The Pryestes gaue answers, & sayd: yea, it shalbe vncleane. Then Aggeus answered, and sayde: euen so is thys people & this nacyon before me, sayth the Lord: & so are al the worckes of theyr handes, yea, and all that they offre, is vncleane.

⁷ Pourge therfore the olde leuen, that ye may be new dowe, as ye are swete bread. For Christ oure easterlambe is offered vp for vs. ⁸ Therfore let vs kepe holy daye, not wyth olde leuen, neither with the leuen of malycyousnes and wyckednes, but with the swete bread of purenes and trueth. ⁹ I wrote vnto you in an Epystle that ye shoulde not companye wyth fornicatours. ¹⁰ And I meant not at al of the fornicatours of this worlde, eyther of the couetous, or of extorsioners, eyther of the ydolaters: for then muste ye nedes haue gone oute of the world. ¹¹ But nowe I writte vnto you, that ye companye not together, if anie that is called a brother be a fornicatour, or couetous, or a worshiper of ymages, eyther a raylar, either a drounkard, or an extorcionar: with him that is such, se that ye eate not. ¹² For what haue I to do, to iudge them which are without? Do ye not iudge them, that are within? ¹³ Them that are wythout, God shal iudge. Put awaye from amonge you, that euyl person.

¹⁶ Howe agreeth the temple of God with Images. And ye are the temple of that lyuynge God, as sayed God. I wyll dwell amonge them, and walke among them, and wyll be theyr God, and they shall be my people. ¹⁷ Wherfore come out from among them, and separate youre selues (sayeth the Lorde) and touche none vncleane thynge: so wyll I receyue you,

⁶ We requyre you brethren in the name of oure Lorde Iesu Christ, that ye wythdrawe your selues from euerye brother that walketh inordinatelye and not after the institucyon whiche ye receyued of vs.

¹⁰ A man that is geuen to heresye, after the fyrst & the seconde admonicyon auoyde,

¹⁵ And loked to, that no man be destitute of the grace of God, and that no rote of bytternes sprynge vp and trouble, and therebye manye be defyled, ¹⁶ & that there be no fornicator or vncleane person, as Esau whiche for one breakfast solde his byrthright.

¹⁰ Yf there come any vnto you, and bringe not this learninge, him receiue not to house, neither byd hym God spede. ¹¹ For he that biddeth him God spede, is partaker of his euyll dedes.

³ And I heard a great voyce out of heauen saying: beholde, the tabernacle of God is wt men, and he wyll dwell with them. And they shal be his people, & God hym selfe shalbe with them & be theyr God.

²⁷ And there shal enter into it none vncleane thyng, neyther whatsoeuer worketh abominacyon: or maketh lyes: but they onely which are wrytten in the lambes boke of lyfe.
