¹⁰ But assone as his brethren were gone vp, he wente also vp vnto the feast: not openly, but as it were priuelye.

⁸ Lorde, I loue the habitacion of thy house, and the place where thy honoure dwelleth.

⁸ that I shoulde fulfyl thy wyl O my God, and that am I content to do: yea thy lawe is wythin my hert.

² He shall not be an outcryer, ner an hye mynded person. Hys voyce shall not be hearde in the stretes. ³ A brossed rede shall he not breake, and the smokyng flax shall he not quench, but faythfully and truly shall he geue iudgement.

¹³ Therfore the wyse muste nowe be fayne to holde hys tunge, so wicked a time is it.

¹⁵ Iesus answered and sayd to hym: Let it be so nowe. For thus it becometh vs to fulfyll al righteousnes. Then he suffred him.

¹⁶ Beholde I sende you forth as shepe among wolues. Be ye therfore wyse as serpentes, and innocent as doues.

³ His brethren therfore sayde vnto hym: get the hence, & go into Iewry that thy disciples maye se thy workes that thou doest.

⁵ For as yet his brethren beleued not in him.

⁵⁴ Iesus therfore walked no more openlye amonge the Iewes, but went hys waye thence vnto a countrye nyghe to the wyldernes, into a cytye called Ephraim, & ther haunted wt his disciples.

⁴ But when the tyme was full come, God sente hys sonne made of a woman, and made bonde vnto the lawe,
