¹³ speake vnto the chyldren of Israell and saye: in any wyse se that ye kepe my Sabboth, for it shalbe a sygne betwene me and you in youre generacyons for to knowe, that I the Lorde do sanctyfye you.

⁸ Remembre the Sabbath daye that thou sanctifie it. ⁹ Sixe dayes mayst thou laboure and do all that thou hast to do: ¹⁰ but the seuenth day is the Sabbath daye of the Lord thy God, in it thou shalt do no maner worke: nether thou nor thy sonne, nor thy doughter, neither thy man seruaunte nor thy mayde seruaunt, neither thy cattel neither yet the straunger that is within thy gates. ¹¹ For in sixe dayes the Lord made both heauen & earth & the sea & all that in them is and rested the seuenth day: wherfore the Lord blessed the Sabbath daye and halowed it.

¹⁷ For it shalbe a sygne betwene me and the chyldren of Israell for euer. For in sixe daies the Lord made heauen and earth and the seuenth daye he rested and was refreshed,

³ Se that ye feare euery man hys father and hys mother, and that ye kepe my Sabothes, for I am the Lord youre God.

³⁰ Se that ye kepe my Sabbothes and feare my sanctuary: I am the Lorde.

⁸ And se that ye kepe myne ordinaunces and doo them. For I am the Lord whych sanctifye you.

⁸ Sanctifye hym therfore, for he offereth vp the bread of god: he shall therfore, be holy vnto the, for I the Lord which sanctifye you, am holy.

³ Syxe dayes ye shall worke, and the seuenth is the Sabboth of reast an holy feast: so that ye maye doo no worke therin, for it is the Sabboth of the Lorde, wheresoeuer ye dwell.

² speake vnto the children of Israel & saye vnto them. When ye be come into the Lande whyche I gyue you, let the Land rest a Sabbothe vnto the Lorde.

² kepe my Sabothes & feare my sanctuary: for I am the Lorde.

¹⁴ and declaredeste vnto them thy holye Sabboth, & commaundedst them preceptes, ordinaunces, and lawes, by Moses thy seruaunte:

¹² I gaue them also my holy dayes, to be a token betwixte me and them, and therby know, that I am the Lorde, whiche haloweth them.

²⁰ halowe my Sabbothes: for they are a token betwyxte me and you, that ye may know, howe that I am the Lorde.

²⁸ Thus the Heathen also shall knowe, that I the Lorde am the holy maker of Israel: when my Sanctuary shalbe among them for euermore.

²⁴ If any discorde arise, they shall dyscerne it, and geue sentence after my iudgementes. My solempne feastes, my lawes and ordynaunces shall they kepe, and halowe my Sabbathes.

¹⁷ Sanctifye them with the truthe, thy saiyng is truthe,

¹⁹ & for theyr sakes sanctifye I my selfe, that they also myght be sanctifyed through the truth:

²³ The very God of peace sanctifye you thorowout. And I praye God that your whole spyryte, soule and bodye, be kept faultles vnto the comming of oure Lorde Iesus Christe.

¹ Iudas the seruaunte of Iesus Christ, the brother of Iames. To them whyche are called & sanctyfied in God the father, and preserued in Iesu Christe.
