⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruptibilitie; and this mortal muste put on immortalytye.

⁷ that is to say, prayse, honoure and immortalytye, to them whyche continue in good doynge and seke eternall lyfe.

¹² The night is passed, and the day is come ny. Let vs therfore caste awaye the dedes of darcknes, & let vs put on the Armoure of lyghte. ¹³ Let vs walke honestlye as it were in the daye lyght: not in eatynge and drynkynge: neyther in chamburynge and wantonnes, neyther in stryfe & enuiynge: ¹⁴ but put ye on the Lorde Iesus Christ. And make not prouysyon for the fleshe, to fulfyll the lustes of it.

² And therfore syghe we, desyrynge to be clothed wyth oure mansyon which is from heauen ³ so yet yf that we be founde clothed, and not naked. ⁴ For as longe as we are in thys tabernacle, we syghe and are greued, for we woulde not be vnclothed, but woulde be clothed vpon, that mortalitye myghte be swalowed vp of lyfe.

²⁷ For al ye that are baptysed, haue put on Christ.

²⁴ and put on that newe man, whyche after the Image of God is shapen in ryghteousnes & true holynes.

² Dearly beloued, now are we the sonnes of God, and yet it doeth not appeare, what we shalbe. But we knowe that when it shal appere, we shalbe like him. For we shall se him as he is.
