⁷ twelve thousand out of the tribe of Simeon; twelve thousand out of the tribe of Levi; twelve thousand out of the tribe of Issachar;

³⁴ And she conceived again and bore a son and said, Now this time my husband will be joined to me, because I have borne him three sons. Therefore his name was called Levi.

¹⁸ And Leah said, God has given me my hire, because I gave my handmaid to my husband. And she called his name Issachar.

²³ The sons of Leah were : Reuben, Jacob's firstborn and Simeon and Levi and Judah and Issachar and Zebulun.

⁵ Simeon and Levi are brothers, weapons of violence are their swords.
