¹³ And you forget Jehovah your Maker, who has stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. And you dread continually, every day, because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy. And where is the fury of the oppressor?

¹⁰ And Pharaoh drew near, the sons of Israel lifted up their eyes. And, behold, the Egyptians marched after them. And they were very afraid. And the sons of Israel cried out to Jehovah. ¹¹ And they said to Moses, Have you taken us away to die in the wilderness because there were no graves in Egypt? Why have you dealt this way with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? ¹² Did we not tell you this word in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, so that we may serve the Egyptians? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. ¹³ And Moses said to the people, Do not fear. Stand still and see the salvation of Jehovah, which He will prepare for you this day. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see them anymore.

⁹ The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them, I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. ¹⁰ You blew with Your wind; the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

¹⁸ You forgot the Rock who brought you forth, and ceased to care for God who formed you.

¹⁴ And Zeresh his wife and all his friends said to him, Make a wooden gallows, fifty cubits high and tomorrow speak to the king that Mordecai may be hanged on it. Then go in merrily with the king to the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman, and he caused the wooden gallows to be made.

⁸ who alone stretches out the heavens, and walks on the waves of the sea;

¹⁸ Have you beat out the expanse with Him, hard like a cast mirror?

⁶ The desolations of the enemy have come to an end forever, and You have destroyed the cities; their memorial has perished with them. ⁷ But Jehovah shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment.

³⁵ I have seen the wicked ruthless, and spreading himself like a luxuriant native tree. ³⁶ Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not; and I looked for him, but he could not be found.

¹⁰ Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; the wrath that is left, You shall bind up.

²⁵ Of old You have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of Your hands. ²⁶ They shall perish, but You shall endure; yea, all of them shall become old like a garment; like a robe You shall change them, and they shall be changed;

² covering Yourself with light as with a robe; and stretching out the heavens like a curtain;

⁴ And say to him, Be careful and be quiet. Do not fear, nor be timid of heart because of the two tails of these smoking firebrands, because of the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah;

¹⁶ Those who see you shall stare and closely watch you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth to tremble; who shook kingdoms; ¹⁷ who made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed its cities; who did not open the house for his prisoners?

⁴ Let my outcasts dwell with you, Moab; be a shelter to them from the face of the destroyer; for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceases, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

¹⁰ Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not been mindful of the Rock of your strength, therefore you shall plant pleasant plants and shall sow it a fresh shoot.

¹⁸ Your heart shall dwell on terror. Where is the scribe? Where is the one weighing? Where is the one counting the towers? ¹⁹ You shall not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than you can understand; of a foreign tongue that no one understands.

³⁶ Then the angel of Jehovah went out and struck a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of Assyria. And they rose early in the morning, and behold! They were all dead corpses. ³⁷ And Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and lived at Nineveh. ³⁸ And it happened as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons struck him with the sword. And they escaped into the land of Ararat; and Esar-haddon his son reigned in his place.

²² It is He who sits on the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;

⁵ So says Jehovah God, He who created the heavens and stretched them out, spreading out the earth and its offspring; He who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it.

²⁴ So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb, I am Jehovah who makes all things; who stretches out the heavens alone; who spreads out the earth; who was with Me?

¹² I have made the earth, and created man on it; I with My hands have stretched out the heavens; and all their host have I commanded.

¹³ My hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has stretched out the heavens. I called; they stood up together.

¹¹ And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied and have not remembered Me, nor laid it to your heart? Have I not been silent, even from forever, and you did not fear Me?

³² Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.

¹¹ So you shall say to them, The gods who have not made the heavens and the earth, they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens. ¹² He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by His judgment.

But if you do not worship, in that moment you shall be thrown into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. And who is that god who shall deliver you out of my hand?

¹⁹ Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with wrath, and the form of his face was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He spoke and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

³² And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the animals of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen, and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He will. ³³ The same hour the thing was fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar. And he was driven from men, and ate grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the heavens, until his hair had grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

¹⁶ Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was greatly enraged. And go into the land of Israel. For the ones who sought the child's life are dead.

²³ And immediately the angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give God the glory. And he was eaten by worms and gave up the spirit.

²⁰ Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

⁵⁵ O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?"

⁹ You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity, therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows." ¹⁰ And, "You, Lord, have laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the works of Your hands. ¹¹ They shall perish, but You will remain. And they shall all become old as a garment, ¹² and as a covering You shall fold them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years shall not fail."

¹⁵ And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from which they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet doing signs before it, (by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast), and those who had worshiped his image. The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone.

⁹ And they went up over the breadth of the earth and circled around the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them.
