² But as for me, it lacked but little that my feet had been moved: almost nothing was needed that my steps had slipped.

⁵ To the unfortunate there is given contempt—according to the thoughts of him that is at ease—prepared also for those whose foot slippeth.

⁴ As for me,—is against man my complaint? and if this be so, why should my spirit not be impatient?

¹³ But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I afflicted with fasting my soul, and my prayer returned into my own bosom.
