³⁸ But He is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to Him.

⁵ Jehovah is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; You shall surely uphold my destiny. ⁶ The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yea, I have a beautiful inheritance. ⁷ I will bless Jehovah, who counseled me. ²³ You who fear Jehovah, praise Him; all the seed of Jacob, glorify Him; and all the seed of Israel, fear Him. ²⁴ For He has not despised nor hated the affliction of the afflicted; and He has not hidden His face from him, but when He cried to Him, He heard. ²⁵ My praise shall be of You in the great assembly; I will pay my vows before His fearers. ²⁶ The meek shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek Jehovah shall praise Him; your heart shall live forever.

⁵⁷ Even as the living Father sent Me, and I live through the Father; also the one partaking Me, even that one will live through Me.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. The one believing into Me, though he die, he shall live. ²⁶ And everyone living and believing into Me shall not ever die forever. Do you believe this?

¹⁹ Yet a little while and the world no longer sees Me, but you see Me. Because I live, you also shall live.

¹⁰ For in that He died, He died to sin once for all; but in that He lives, He lives to God. ¹¹ So also you count yourselves to be truly dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁷ For no one of us lives to himself and no one dies to himself. ⁸ For both if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Then both if we live, and if we die, we are the Lord's. ⁹ For this Christ both died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord over both the dead and the living.

¹⁶ And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, "I will" dwell in them and "walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Lev. 26:12; Ezek. 37:27

⁴ (for even if He was crucified out of weakness, yet He lives by the power of God). For even we are weak in Him, yet we shall live by the power of God toward you.

³ For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ Whenever Christ our life is revealed, then also you will be revealed with Him in glory.

¹⁶ But now they stretch forth to a better, that is, a heavenly land . Therefore, God is not ashamed of them, for Him to be called their God; for He prepared a city for them.

¹⁵ Because of this they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His sanctuary. And He sitting on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. ¹⁶ And they will not hunger still, nor will they thirst still, nor at all shall fall on them the sun, nor any kind of heat. ¹⁷ Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

¹ And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, coming forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
