²⁰ Go, and standing in the temple, speak to the people all the words of this life.

²³ And the chief priests and elders of the people came to Him, while teaching, He having come into the temple, saying, By what authority are you doing these things? And who gave you this authority?

⁶³ The Spirit is the One who creates life; the flesh profits nothing; the words which I have spoken unto you are spirit and life.

⁶⁸ Simon Peter responded to Him, Lord, to whom shall we go away? thou hast the words of eternal life;

⁵⁰ And I know that His commandment is eternal life. Now whatsoever thing I say, as the Father has spoken unto me, so I say.

³ But this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou didst send.

⁸ because the words which thou didst give me I have given unto them; and they received them, and they know truly that I came out from thee, and they believed that thou didst send me.

²⁰ And Jesus said to him, I have spoken openly to the world. I always taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, where all the Jews come together; and I spoke nothing in secret.

¹⁴ who will speak words to you, by which you and your whole family may be saved.

¹ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have beheld, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of the life; ² and the life was made manifest, and we have seen, and we testify, and we proclaim to you the life which is eternal, which was with the Father, and has been made manifest unto us; ³ that which we have seen and heard we also proclaim to you, in order that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is indeed with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

¹¹ And this is the testimony, that God has given unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. ¹² The one having the Son has the life; the one not having the Son of God has not the life.
