¹⁶ Arise, O North, and come O South, and blowe on my garden that the spices thereof may flow out: let my welbeloued come to his garden, and eate his pleasant fruite.

⁶ The winde goeth toward the South, and compasseth towarde the North: the winde goeth rounde about, and returneth by his circuites.

⁴ I am blacke, O daughters of Ierusalem, but comely, as the tentes of Kedar, and as the curtaines of Salomon.

³ Like the apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my welbeloued among the sonnes of men: vnder his shadow had I delite, and sate downe: and his fruite was sweete vnto my mouth.

¹³ Thy plantes are as an orchard of pomegranates with sweete fruites, as camphire, spikenarde, ¹⁴ Euen spikenarde, and saffran, calamus, and cynamon with all the trees of incense, myrrhe and aloes, with all the chiefe spices.

¹ I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I gathered my myrrhe with my spice: I ate mine hony combe with mine hony, I dranke my wine with my milke: eate, O friends, drinke, and make you merie, O welbeloued.

² I am my welbeloueds, and my welbeloued is mine, who feedeth among the lilies.

¹² Let vs get vp early to the vines, let vs see if the vine florish, whether it hath budded the small grape, or whether the pomegranates florish: there will I giue thee my loue. ¹³ The mandrakes haue giuen a smelll, and in our gates are all sweete things, new and olde: my welbeloued, I haue kept them for thee.

¹² But my vineyarde which is mine, is before me: to thee, O Salomon appertaineth a thousand pieces of siluer, and two hundreth to them that keepe the fruite thereof.

⁹ Rise vp, rise vp, and put on strength, O arme of the Lord: rise vp as in the olde time in the generations of the worlde. Art not thou the same, that hath cutte Rahab, and wounded the dragon? ¹⁰ Art not thou the same, which hath dried the Sea, euen the waters of the great deepe, making the depth of the Sea a way for the redeemed to passe ouer? ¹¹ Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall returne, and come with ioy vnto Zion, and euerlasting ioy shalbe vpon their head: they shall obtaine ioy, and gladnesse: and sorow and mourning shall flee away.

¹ Oh, that thou wouldest breake the heauens, and come downe, and that the mountaines might melt at thy presence!

⁹ Then sayd he vnto me, Prophecie vnto the winde: prophecie, sonne of man, and say to the winde, Thus sayth the Lord God, Come from the foure windes, O breath, and breathe vpon these slayne, that they may liue.

¹⁰ And Iesus knowing it, sayde vnto them, Why trouble yee the woman? for shee hath wrought a good woorke vpon me.

¹² For in that shee powred this oyntment on my bodie, shee did it to burie me.

⁸ The winde bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it commeth, and whither it goeth: so is euery man that is borne of the Spirit.

⁸ Iesus said vnto him, Rise: take vp thy bed, and walke.

¹ And when the day of Pentecost was come, they were al with one accord in one place. ² And suddenly there came a sounde from heauen, as of a russhing and mightie winde, and it filled all the house where they sate.

³¹ And when as they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God boldely.

¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Iesus Christ toward the Gentiles, ministring the Gospel of God, that the offering vp of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the holy Ghost.

²⁸ When I haue therefore performed this, and haue sealed them this fruite, I will passe by you into Spaine.

¹⁰ Also hee that findeth seede to the sower, will minister likewise bread for foode, and multiplie your seede, and increase the fruites of your beneuolence,) ¹¹ That on all partes yee may bee made rich vnto all liberalitie, which causeth through vs thankesgiuing vnto God. ¹² For the ministration of this seruice not onely supplieth the necessities of the Saintes, but also aboundantly causeth many to giue thankes to God, ¹³ (Which by the experiment of this ministration praise God for your voluntarie submission to the Gospell of Christ, and for your liberall distribution to them, and to all men) ¹⁴ And in their praier for you, to log after you greatly, for the aboundant grace of God in you. ¹⁵ Thankes therefore bee vnto God for his vnspeakeable gift.

⁹ And this I pray, that your loue may abound, yet more and more in knowledge, and in all iudgement, ¹⁰ That ye may alowe those things which are best, that ye may be pure, and without offence vntill the day of Christ, ¹¹ Filled with the fruites of righteousnesse, which are by Iesus Christ vnto the glorie and praise of God.

⁹ For this cause wee also, since the day wee heard of it, cease not to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be fulfilled with knowledge of his will in all wisdome, and spirituall vnderstanding, ¹⁰ That ye might walke worthy of the Lord, and please him in all things, being fruitefull in all good workes, and increasing in the knowledge of God, ¹¹ Strengthened with all might through his glorious power, vnto all patience, and long suffering with ioyfulnesse, ¹² Giuing thankes vnto the Father, which hath made vs meete to be partakers of the inheritance of the Saintes in light,

¹² That ye would walke worthy of God, who hath called you vnto his kingdome and glorie. ¹³ For this cause also thanke we God without ceasing, that when ye receiued the worde of God, which ye heard of vs, ye receiued it not as the worde of men, but as it is in deede the worde of God, which also worketh in you that beleeue.

²⁰ The God of peace that brought againe from the dead our Lord Iesus, the great shepheard of the sheepe, through the blood of the euerlasting Couenant, ²¹ Make you perfect in all good workes, to doe his will, working in you that which is pleasant in his sight through Iesus Christ, to whom be praise for euer and euer, Amen.

⁵ Yee also as liuely stones, bee made a spirituall house, an holy Priesthoode to offer vp spirituall sacrifices acceptable to God by Iesus Christ.

⁹ But yee are a chosen generation, a royall Priesthoode, an holy nation, a people set at libertie, that yee shoulde shewe foorth the vertues of him that hath called you out of darkenesse into his marueilous light, ¹⁰ Which in time past were not a people, yet are nowe the people of God: which in time past were not vnder mercie, but nowe haue obteined mercie.

¹⁸ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ: to him be glory both now and for euermore. Amen.
