¹⁰ For thou wilt not leaue my soule in the graue: neither wilt thou suffer thine holy one to see corruption.

²⁸ Ye shall not cut your flesh for the dead, nor make any print of a marke vpon you: I am the Lord,

⁶ During the time that he separateth himselfe vnto the Lord, he shall come at no dead body:

²² For fire is kindled in my wrath, and shall burne vnto the bottome of hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountaines.

⁸ The heauens are hie, what canst thou doe? it is deeper then the hell, how canst thou know it?

¹⁷ The wicked shall turne into hell, and all nations that forget God.

¹⁵ But God shall deliuer my soule from the power of the graue: for he will receiue me. Selah.

⁸ If I ascende into heauen, thou art there: if I lye downe in hell, thou art there.

¹¹ Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more the hearts of the sonnes of men?

²⁰ The graue and destruction can neuer be full, so the eyes of man can neuer be satisfied.

¹⁴ Therefore hell hath inlarged it selfe, and hath opened his mouth, without measure, and their glorie, and their multitude, and their pompe, and hee that reioyceth among them, shall descend into it.

⁹ Hel beneath is mooued for thee to meete thee at thy comming, raising vp the deade for thee, euen all the princes of the earth, and hath raised from their thrones all the Kinges of the nations.

²⁴ Seuentie weekes are determined vpon thy people and vpon thine holy citie, to finish the wickednes, and to seale vp the sinnes, and to reconcile the inquitie, and to bring in euerlasting righteousnesse, and to seale vp the vision and prophecie, and to anoynt the most Holy.

² Though they digge into the hell, thence shall mine hande take them: though they clime vp to heauen, thence will I bring them downe.

³⁵ And the Angel answered, and said vnto her, The holy Ghost shall come vpon thee, and the power of the most High shall ouershadowe thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall bee borne of thee, shall be called the Sonne of God.

³⁴ Saying, Oh, what haue we to doe with thee, thou Iesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy vs? I know who thou art, euen the holy one of God.

²³ And being in hell in torments, he lift vp his eyes, and sawe Abraham a farre off, and Lazarus in his bosome.

¹⁴ But ye denied the Holy one and the Iust, and desired a murtherer to be giuen you, ¹⁵ And killed the Lord of life, whome God hath raised from the dead, whereof we are witnesses.

³⁵ Wherefore hee sayeth also in another place, Thou wilt not suffer thine Holy one to see corruption. ³⁶ Howbeit, Dauid after hee had serued his time by the counsell of God, hee slept, and was laid with his fathers, and sawe corruption. ³⁷ But he whom God raised vp, sawe no corruption. ³⁸ Be it knowen vnto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached vnto you the forgiuenesse of sinnes.

⁴² So also is the resurrection of the dead. The bodie is sowen in corruption, and is raysed in incorruption.

⁵⁰ This say I, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherite the kingdome of God, neither doeth corruption inherite incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I shewe you a secret thing, We shall not all sleepe, but we shall all be changed, ⁵² In a moment, in the twinckling of an eye at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall blow, and the dead shalbe raysed vp incorruptible, and we shalbe changed. ⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption: and this mortall must put on immortalitie. ⁵⁴ So when this corruptible hath put on incorruption, and this mortall hath put on immortalitie, then shalbe brought to passe the saying that is written, Death is swallowed vp into victorie. ⁵⁵ O death where is thy sting? O graue where is thy victorie?

¹⁸ And am aliue, but I was dead: and beholde, I am aliue for euermore, Amen: and I haue the keyes of hell and of death.

¹³ And the sea gaue vp her dead, which were in her, and death and hell deliuered vp the dead, which were in them: and they were iudged euery man according to their woorkes.
