⁹⁰ Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.

⁹ That thou mayest knowe, that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithfull God which keepeth couenant and mercie vnto them that loue him and keepe his commandements, euen to a thousand generations,

⁴ Where wast thou when I layd the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast vnderstanding, ⁵ Who hath layde the measures thereof, if thou knowest, or who hath stretched the line ouer it: ⁶ Whereupon are the foundations thereof set: or who layed the corner stone thereof: ⁷ When the starres of the morning praysed me together, and all the children of God reioyced:

⁵ Thy mercy, O Lord, reacheth vnto the heauens, and thy faithfulnesse vnto the cloudes.

¹ A Psalme to give instruction, of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing the mercies of the Lord for euer: with my mouth will I declare thy trueth from generation to generation. ² For I said, Mercie shalbe set vp for euer: thy trueth shalt thou stablish in ye very heauens.

¹¹ The heauens are thine, the earth also is thine: thou hast layde the foundation of the world, and all that therein is.

¹ The Lord reigneth, and is clothed with maiestie: the Lord is clothed, and girded with power: the world also shall be established, that it cannot be mooued.

⁵ For the Lord is good: his mercy is euerlasting, and his trueth is from generation to generation.

⁵ He set the earth vpon her foundations, so that it shall neuer moue.

⁶ And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.

⁴ One generation passeth, and another generation succeedeth: but the earth remaineth for euer.

⁵ For this they willingly know not, that the heauens were of olde, and the earth that was of the water and by the water, by the word of God. ⁶ Wherefore the worlde that then was, perished, ouerflowed with the water. ⁷ But the heauens and earth, which are nowe, are kept by the same word in store, and reserued vnto fire against the day of condemnation, and of the destruction of vngodly men.
