² The good man is perished out of the earth, and there is none righteous among men: they all lye in wayte for blood: euery man hunteth his brother with a net.

¹¹ Behold, this day thine eyes haue seene, that the Lord had deliuered thee this day into mine hand in the caue, and some bade me kill thee, but I had compassion on thee, and said, I will not lay mine hande on my master: for he is the Lordes Anoynted.

²⁰ Nowe therefore let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the Lord: for the King of Israel is come out to seeke a flea, as one would hunt a partridge in the mountaines.

The foole hath said in his heart, There is no God: they haue corrupted, and done an abominable worke: there is none that doeth good. ² The Lord looked downe from heauen vpon the children of men, to see if there were any that would vnderstand, and seeke God. ³ All are gone out of the way: they are all corrupt: there is none that doeth good, no not one.

⁶ They haue layd a net for my steps: my soule is pressed downe: they haue digged a pit before me, and are fallen into the mids of it. Selah.

¹¹ If they say, Come with vs, we will lay waite for blood, and lie priuilie for the innocent without a cause:

⁶ The talking of the wicked is to lye in waite for blood: but the mouth of the righteous will deliuer them.

¹ The righteous perisheth, and no man considereth it in heart: and mercifull men are taken away, and no man vnderstandeth that the righteous is taken away from the euill to come.

⁷ Their feete runne to euill, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are wicked thoughts: desolation and destruction is in their paths.

¹⁶ Whose quiuer is as an open sepulchre: they are all very strong.

²⁶ For among my people are founde wicked persons, that lay waite as hee that setteth snares: they haue made a pit, to catch men.

¹⁶ Behold, sayth the Lord, I wil send out many fishers, and they shall fish them, and after, will I send out many hunters, and they shall hunt them from euery mountaine and from euery hill, and out of the caues of the rockes.

¹⁸ They hunt our steppes that we cannot goe in our streetes: our ende is neere, our dayes are fulfilled, for our ende is come.

¹⁰ They build vp Zion with blood, and Ierusalem with iniquitie.

¹⁵ They take vp all with the angle: they catch it in their net, and gather it in their yarne, whereof they reioyce and are glad. ¹⁶ Therefore they sacrifice vnto their net, and burne incense vnto their yarne, because by them their portion is fat and their meat plenteous. ¹⁷ Shall they therefore stretch out their net and not spare continually to slay the nations?

¹⁰ As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one. ¹¹ There is none that vnderstandeth: there is none that seeketh God. ¹² They haue all gone out of the way: they haue bene made altogether vnprofitable: there is none that doeth good, no not one. ¹³ Their throte is an open sepulchre: they haue vsed their tongues to deceit: the poyson of aspes is vnder their lippes. ¹⁴ Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitternesse. ¹⁵ Their feete are swift to shead blood. ¹⁶ Destruction and calamity are in their waies, ¹⁷ And ye way of peace they haue not knowen. ¹⁸ The feare of God is not before their eies.
