³⁸ And his worde haue you not abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye beleeued not.

⁶ And these wordes which I commaund thee this day, shalbe in thine heart. ⁷ And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp: ⁸ And thou shalt binde them for a signe vpon thine hand, and they shalbe as frontlets betweene thine eyes. ⁹ Also thou shalt write them vpon ye postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates.

⁸ Let not this booke of the Law depart out of thy mouth, but meditate therin day and night, that thou mayest obserue and doe according to all that is written therein: for then shalt thou make thy way prosperous, and then shalt thou haue good successe.

¹¹ I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.

¹ My sonne, if thou wilt receiue my wordes, and hide my commandements within thee, ² And cause thine eares to hearken vnto wisdome, and encline thine heart to vnderstanding,

¹ My sonne, keepe my wordes, and hide my commandements with thee. ² Keepe my commandements, and thou shalt liue, and mine instruction as the apple of thine eyes.

⁷ Thus sayeth the Lord the redeemer of Israel, and his Holie one, to him that is despised in soule, to a nation that is abhorred, to a seruaunt of rulers, Kinges shall see, and arise, and princes shall worship, because of the Lord, that is faithfull: and ye Holy one of Israel, which hath chosen thee.

¹ Who will beleeue our report? and to whom is the arme of the Lord reueiled? ² But hee shall growe vp before him as a branche, and as a roote out of a dry grounde: he hath neither forme nor beautie: when we shall see him, there shall be no forme that wee should desire him. ³ He is despised and reiected of men: he is a man full of sorowes and hath experience of infirmities: we hidde as it were our faces from him: he was despised and we esteemed him not.

¹¹ He came vnto his owne, and his owne receiued him not.

¹⁷ For God sent not his Sonne into the world, that he should condemne the world, but that the world through him might be saued. ¹⁸ Hee that beleeueth in him, is not condemned: but hee that beleeueth not, is condemned already, because he hath not beleeued in the Name of that onely begotten Sonne of God. ¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that that light came into the worlde, and men loued darknesse rather then that light, because their deedes were euill. ²⁰ For euery man that euill doeth, hateth the light, neither commeth to light, least his deedes should be reprooued. ²¹ But he that doeth trueth, commeth to the light, that his deedes might bee made manifest, that they are wrought according to God.

⁴² But I know you, that ye haue not the loue of God in you. ⁴³ I am come in my Fathers Name, and ye receiue me not: if another shall come in his owne name, him will ye receiue.

⁴⁶ For had ye beleeued Moses, ye would haue beleeued me: for he wrote of me. ⁴⁷ But if ye beleeue not his writings, how shall ye beleeue my wordes?

³⁷ I know that ye are Abrahams seede, but yee seeke to kill mee, because my worde hath no place in you.

⁴⁶ Which of you can rebuke me of sinne? and if I say the trueth, why do ye not beleeue me? ⁴⁷ He that is of God, heareth Gods wordes: yee therefore heare them not, because ye are not of God.

⁴⁴ And Iesus cryed, and sayd, He that beleeueth in me, beleeueth not in me, but in him that sent me. ⁴⁵ And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me. ⁴⁶ I am come a light into the world, that whosoeuer beleeueth in me, should not abide in darkenes. ⁴⁷ And if any man heare my wordes, and beleeue not, I iudge him not: for I came not to iudge the world, but to saue the world. ⁴⁸ He that refuseth me, and receiueth not my wordes, hath one that iudgeth him: the worde that I haue spoken, it shall iudge him in the last day.

⁷ If ye abide in me, and my wordes abide in you, aske what ye wil, and it shalbe done to you.

¹⁶ Let the worde of Christ dwell in you plenteously in all wisdome, teaching and admonishing your owne selues, in Psalmes, and hymnes, and spirituall songs, singing with a grace in your hearts to the Lord.

²¹ Wherefore lay apart all filthinesse, and superfluitie of maliciousnesse, and receiue with meekenes the word that is graffed in you, which is able to saue your soules. ²² And be ye doers of the word, and not hearers onely, deceiuing your owne selues.

¹⁴ I haue written vnto you, fathers, because ye haue knowen him, that is from the beginning. I haue written vnto you, yong men, because ye are strong, and the worde of God abideth in you, and ye haue ouercome that wicked one.
