¹⁵ He that hath made me in the wombe, hath he not made him? hath not he alone facioned vs in the wombe?

⁵ And nowe our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, and our sonnes as their sonnes: and lo, we bring into subiection our sonnes and our daughters, as seruants, and there be of our daughters nowe in subiection, and there is no power in our handes: for other men haue our landes and our vineyardes.

³ Thinkest thou it good to oppresse me, and to cast off the labour of thine handes, and to fauour the counsel of the wicked?

⁸ Thine handes haue made me, and fashioned mee wholy rounde about, and wilt thou destroy me? ⁹ Remember, I pray thee, that thou hast made me as the clay, and wilt thou bring me into dust againe? ¹⁰ Hast thou not powred me out as milke? and turned me to cruds like cheese? ¹¹ Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and ioyned me together with bones and sinewes. ¹² Thou hast giuen me life, and grace: and thy visitation hath preserued my spirit.

¹⁹ How much lesse to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, and regardeth not the rich, more then the poore? for they be all the worke of his handes.

¹⁴ I will praise thee, for I am fearefully and wonderously made: marueilous are thy workes, and my soule knoweth it well. ¹⁵ My bones are not hid from thee, though I was made in a secret place, and facioned beneath in the earth. ¹⁶ Thine eyes did see me, when I was without forme: for in thy booke were all things written, which in continuance were facioned, when there was none of them before.

³¹ He that oppresseth the poore, reprooueth him that made him: but hee honoureth him, that hath mercie on the poore.

² The rich and poore meete together: the Lord is the maker of them all.

⁷ Is it not to deale thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poore that wander, vnto thine house? when thou seest the naked, that thou couer him, and hide not thy selfe from thine owne flesh?

¹⁰ Haue we not all one father? hath not one God made vs? why doe we transgresse euery one against his brother, and breake the couenant of our fathers?
