¹⁹ When the rich man sleepeth, he shall not be gathered to his fathers: they opened their eyes, and he was gone.

¹⁰ The scepter shall not depart from Iudah, nor a Lawegiuer from betweene his feete, vntill Shiloh come, and the people shall be gathered vnto him.

⁸ The eye that hath seene me, shall see me no more: thine eyes are vpon me, and I shall be no longer.

²² They that hate thee, shall be clothed with shame, and the dwelling of the wicked shall not remaine.

¹⁰ But man is sicke, and dyeth, and man perisheth, and where is he?

¹² So man sleepeth and riseth not: for hee shall not wake againe, nor be raised from his sleepe till the heauen be no more. ¹³ Oh that thou wouldest hide me in the graue, and keepe me secret, vntill thy wrath were past, and wouldest giue me terme, and remember me. ¹⁴ If a man die, shall he liue againe? ⁷ Yet shall hee perish for euer, like his dung, and they which haue seene him, shall say, Where is hee? ⁸ He shall flee away as a dreame, and they shall not finde him, and shall passe away as a vision of the night, ⁹ So that the eye which had seene him, shall do so no more, and his place shall see him no more.

²³ One dyeth in his full strength, being in all ease and prosperitie. ²⁴ His breasts are full of milke, and his bones runne full of marowe. ²⁵ And another dieth in the bitternes of his soule, and neuer eateth with pleasure. ²⁶ They shall sleepe both in the dust, and the wormes shall couer them.

³⁰ But the wicked is kept vnto the day of destruction, and they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.

²⁴ They are exalted for a litle, but they are gone, and are brought lowe as all others: they are destroyed, and cut off as the toppe of an eare of corne.

²³ Surely I knowe that thou wilt bring mee to death, and to the house appoynted for all the liuing.

⁹ As raw flesh before your pots feele the fire of thornes: so let him cary them away as with a whirlewinde in his wrath.

¹⁹ How suddenly are they destroyed, perished and horribly consumed, ²⁰ As a dreame when one awaketh! O Lord, when thou raisest vs vp, thou shalt make their image despised.

² And they shall spread them before the sunne and the moone, and all the host of heauen, whom they haue loued, and whome they haue serued, and whome they haue followed, and whome they haue sought, and whome they haue worshipped: they shall not be gathered nor be buried, but shall be as doung vpon the earth.

¹² Which hath his fanne in his hand, and wil make cleane his floore, and gather his wheate into his garner, but will burne vp the chaffe with vnquenchable fire.
