⁴ Asshur shall not saue vs, neither wil we ride vpon horses, neither will we say any more to the worke of our handes, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherlesse findeth mercie.

²⁶ And sayd, if thou wilt diligently hearken, O Israel, vnto the voyce of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that, which is right in his sight, and wilt giue eare vnto his commandements, and keepe all his ordinances, then will I put none of these diseases vpon thee, which I brought vpon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

⁴ And the Lord sayde vnto Moses, Take all the heades of the people, and hang them vp before the Lord against ye sunne, that the indignation of the Lords wrath may be turned from Israel.

¹¹ Phinehas the sonne of Eleazar, the sonne of Aaron the Priest, hath turned mine anger away from the children of Israel, while hee was zealous for my sake among them: therefore I haue not consumed the children of Israel in my ielousie.

⁷ The Lord did not set his loue vpon you, nor chose you, because ye were more in number then any people: for ye were the fewest of all people: ⁸ But because the Lord loued you, and because hee would keepe the othe which hee had sworne vnto your fathers, the Lord hath brought you out by a mightie hand, and deliuered you out of the house of bondage from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt,

³⁸ Yet he being merciful forgaue their iniquitie, and destroied them not, but oft times called backe his anger, and did not stirre vp all his wrath.

¹ And thou shalt say in that day, O Lord, I will prayse thee: though thou wast angrie with me, thy wrath is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

¹⁸ I haue seene his wayes, and wil heale him: I wil leade him also, and restore comfort vnto him, and to those that lament him.

²² O yee disobedient children, returne and I wil heale your rebellions. Behold, we come vnto thee, for thou art the Lord our God.

⁶ Wherefore a lyon out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolfe of the wildernesse shall destroy them: a leopard shall watch ouer their cities: euery one that goeth out thence, shall be torne in pieces, because their trespasses are many, and their rebellions are increased.

²² Is there no balme at Gilead? is there no Physition there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recouered.

⁷ O Lord, though our iniquities testifie against vs, deale with vs according to thy name: for our rebellions are many, we sinned against thee.

¹⁴ Heale me, O Lord, and I shall bee whole: saue me, and I shall bee saued: for thou art my prayse.

⁶ Behold, I will giue it health and amendment: for I wil cure them, and will reueile vnto them the abundance of peace, and trueth.

¹ Come, and let vs returne to the Lord: for he hath spoyled, and he will heale vs: he hath wounded vs, and he will binde vs vp.

⁷ And my people are bent to rebellion against me: though they called them to the most hie, yet none at all would exalt him.

¹⁷ The Lord thy God in the middes of thee is mightie: hee will saue, hee will reioyce ouer thee with ioye: he will quiet himselfe in his loue: he will reioyce ouer thee with ioy.

¹² Nowe when Iesus heard it, hee sayde vnto them, The whole neede not a Physition, but they that are sicke. ¹³ But goe yee and learne what this is, I will haue mercie, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.

²⁴ And are iustified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Iesus,

¹⁹ For God was in Christ, and reconciled the world to himselfe, not imputing their sinnes vnto them, and hath committed to vs the word of reconciliation. ²⁰ Now then are we ambassadours for Christ: as though God did beseeche you through vs, we pray you in Christes steade, that ye be reconciled to God. ²¹ For he hath made him to be sinne for vs, which knewe no sinne, that we should be made the righteousnesse of God in him.

⁶ To the prayse of the glory of his grace, wherewith he hath made vs freely accepted in his beloued,

⁴ But God which is rich in mercie, through his great loue wherewith he loued vs, ⁵ Euen when we were dead by sinnes, hath quickened vs together in Christ, by whose grace ye are saued, ⁶ And hath raysed vs vp together, and made vs sit together in the heauenly places in Christ Iesus, ⁷ That he might shewe in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace, through his kindnesse toward vs in Christ Iesus. ⁸ For by grace are ye saued through faith, and that not of your selues: it is the gift of God, ⁹ Not of workes, least any man should boast himselfe.

⁹ Who hath saued vs, and called vs with an holy calling, not according to our workes, but according to his owne purpose and grace, which was giuen to vs through Christ Iesus before the world was,

⁴ But when that bountifulnesse and that loue of God our Sauiour toward man appeared,
