² To whom also Abraham gaue the tithe of all things: who first is by interpretation King of righteousnes: after that, he is also King of Salem, that is, King of peace,

²² And this stone, which I haue set vp as a pillar, shall be Gods house: and of all that thou shalt giue me, wil I giue the tenth vnto thee.

³² And euery tithe of bullock, and of sheepe, and of all that goeth vnder the rod, the tenth shalbe holy vnto the Lord.

²¹ For beholde, I haue giuen the children of Leui all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their seruice which they serue in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

¹⁵ And he will take the tenth of your seede, and of your vineyards, and giue it to his Eunuches, and to his seruants.

¹⁷ He will take the tenth of your sheepe, and ye shall be his seruants.

¹⁵ Thus Dauid reigned ouer all Israel, and executed iudgement and iustice vnto all his people.

³ The God of Israel spake to me, ye strength of Israel saide, Thou shalt beare rule ouer men, being iust, and ruling in the feare of God.

²⁴ For he ruled in all the region on the other side of the Riuer, from Tiphsah euen vnto Azzah, ouer all the Kings on the other side the Riuer: and he had peace round about him on euery side. ²⁵ And Iudah and Israel dwelt without feare, euery man vnder his vine, and vnder his fig tree, from Dan, euen to Beer-sheba, all the dayes of Salomon.

⁹ Beholde, a sonne is borne to thee, which shalbe a man of rest, for I will giue him rest from all his enemies rounde about: therefore his name is Salomon: and I will sende peace and quietnes vpon Israel in his dayes.

⁴ And prosper with thy glory: ride vpon the worde of trueth and of meekenes and of righteousnes: so thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. ⁵ Thine arrowes are sharpe to pearce the heart of the Kings enemies: therefore the people shall fall vnder thee. ⁶ Thy throne, O God, is for euer and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a scepter of righteousnesse. ⁷ Thou louest righteousnes, and hatest wickednesse, because God, euen thy God hath anoynted thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.

¹ A Psalme of Salomon. Give thy iudgements to the King, O God, and thy righteousnesse to the Kings sonne. ² Then shall he iudge thy people in righteousnesse, and thy poore with equitie. ³ The mountaines and the hilles shall bring peace to the people by iustice.

⁷ In his dayes shall the righteous florish, and abundance of peace shalbe so long as the moone endureth.

¹⁰ Mercie and trueth shall meete: righteousnes and peace shall kisse one another. ¹¹ Trueth shall bud out of the earth, and righteousnes shall looke downe from heauen.

⁶ For vnto vs a childe is borne, and vnto vs a Sonne is giuen: and the gouernement is vpon his shoulder, and he shall call his name Wonderfull, Counseller, The mightie God, The euerlasting Father, The prince of peace, ⁷ The increase of his gouernement and peace shall haue none end: he shall sit vpon the throne of Dauid, and vpon his kingdome, to order it, and to stablish it with iudgement and with iustice, from hencefoorth, euen for euer: the zeale of the Lord of hostes will performe this.

¹ Behold, a King shall reigne in iustice, and the princes shall rule in iudgement. ² And that man shall bee as an hiding place from the winde, and as a refuge for the tempest: as riuers of water in a drie place, and as the shadowe of a great rocke in a weary land.

²² Looke vnto me, and ye shall be saued: all the endes of the earth shall be saued: for I am God, and there is none other. ²³ I haue sworne by my selfe: the worde is gone out of my mouth in righteousnesse, and shall not returne, That euery knee shall bowe vnto me, and euery tongue shall sweare by me. ²⁴ Surely he shall say, In the Lord haue I righteousnesse and strength: he shall come vnto him, and all that prouoke him, shall be ashamed. ²⁵ The whole seede of Israel shall be iustified, and glorie in the Lord.

⁵ Behold, The dayes come, saith the Lord, that I will raise vnto Dauid a righteous branche, and a King shall reigne, and prosper, and shall execute iudgement, and iustice in the earth. ⁶ In his dayes Iudah shalbe saued, and Israel shall dwell safely, and this is the Name wherby they shall call him, The Lord our righteousnesse.

¹⁵ In those dayes and at that time, wil I cause the branch of righteousnesse to growe vp vnto Dauid, and he shall execute iudgement, and righteousnes in the land. ¹⁶ In those dayes shall Iudah be saued, and Ierusalem shall dwell safely, and hee that shall call her, is the Lord our righteousnesse.

⁵ And hee shall be our peace when Asshur shall come into our lande: when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seuen shepheardes, and eight principall men.

¹⁴ Glory be to God in the high heauens, and peace in earth, and towards men good will.

²⁶ Through the patience of God, to shewe at this time his righteousnesse, that hee might be iust, and a iustifier of him which is of the faith of Iesus.

¹ Then being iustified by faith, we haue peace toward God through our Lord Iesus Christ. ² By who also through faith, we haue had this accesse into this grace, wherein we stand, and reioyce vnder ye hope of the glory of God.

¹⁴ For he is our peace, which hath made of both one, and hath broken the stoppe of the partition wall, ¹⁵ In abrogating through his flesh the hatred, that is, the Lawe of commandements which standeth in ordinances, for to make of twaine one newe man in himselfe, so making peace, ¹⁶ And that he might reconcile both vnto God in one body by his crosse, and slay hatred thereby, ¹⁷ And came, and preached peace to you which were afarre off, and to them that were neere. ¹⁸ For through him we both haue an entrance vnto the Father by one Spirit.
