¹² Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christs Gospell, and a doore was opened vnto me of the Lord,

²⁷ And when they were come and had gathered the Church together, they rehearsed all the things that God had done by them, and howe he had opened the doore of faith vnto the Gentiles.

⁸ Therefore they passed through Mysia, and came downe to Troas,

¹ Nowe after the tumult was appeased, Paul called the disciples vnto him, and embraced them, and departed to goe into Macedonia. ² And when hee had gone through those parts, and had exhorted them with many words, he came into Grecia. ³ And hauing taried there three moneths, because the Iewes layde waite for him, as hee was about to saile into Syria, hee purposed to returne through Macedonia. ⁴ And there accompanied him into Asia, Sopater of Berea, and of them of Thessalonica, Aristarchus, and Secundus, and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus, and of them of Asia, Tychicus, and Trophimus. ⁵ These went before, and taried vs at Troas. ⁶ And we sailed forth from Philippi, after the dayes of vnleauened bread, and came vnto them to Troas in fiue dayes, where we abode seuen dayes.

⁸ And there were many lightes in an vpper chamber, where they were gathered together.

¹ Paul a seruant of Iesus Christ called to be an Apostle, put apart to preache the Gospel of God,

⁹ For a great doore and effectuall is opened vnto me: and there are many aduersaries.

³ Praying also for vs, that God may open vnto vs the doore of vtterance, to speake ye mysterie of Christ: wherefore I am also in bonds,

⁷ And write vnto ye Angel of ye Church which is of Philadelphia, These things saith he that is Holy, and True, which hath ye keye of Dauid, which openeth and no man shutteth, and shutteth and no man openeth, ⁸ I knowe thy workes: beholde, I haue set before thee an open doore, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a litle strength and hast kept my worde, and hast not denied my Name.
