¹⁰ For therefore we labour and are rebuked, because we trust in the liuing God, which is the Sauiour of all men, specially of those that beleeue.

⁶ Thy righteousnesse is like the mightie moutaines: thy iudgements are like a great deepe: thou, Lord, doest saue man and beast.

⁴⁰ For the Lord shall helpe them, and deliuer them: he shall deliuer them from the wicked, and shall saue them, because they trust in him.

⁸ But I shall bee like a greene oliue tree in the house of God: for I trusted in the mercie of God for euer and euer.

¹² O Lord of hostes, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

² Let them, which haue bene redeemed of the Lord, shewe how he hath deliuered them from the hand of the oppressour,

⁶ Then they cried vnto the Lord in their trouble, and he deliuered them from their distresse, ⁷ And led them forth by the right way, that they might goe to a citie of habitation. ⁸ Let them therefore confesse before ye Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men. ⁹ For he satisfied the thirstie soule, and filled the hungrie soule with goodnesse. ¹⁰ They that dwell in darkenesse and in the shadowe of death, being bounde in miserie and yron, ¹¹ Because they rebelled against the wordes of the Lord, and despised the counsell of the most High, ¹² When he humbled their heart with heauines, then they fell downe and there was no helper. ¹³ Then they cried vnto the Lord in their trouble, and he deliuered them from their distresse. ¹⁴ He brought them out of darkenes, and out of the shadowe of death, and brake their bandes asunder. ¹⁵ Let them therefore cofesse before the Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men. ¹⁶ For hee hath broken the gates of brasse, and brast the barres of yron asunder. ¹⁷ Fooles by reason of their transgression, and because of their iniquities are afflicted. ¹⁸ Their soule abhorreth al meat, and they are brought to deaths doore. ¹⁹ Then they crie vnto the Lord in their trouble, and he deliuereth them from their distresse. ²⁰ He sendeth his worde and healeth them, and deliuereth them from their graues. ²¹ Let them therefore cofesse before the Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderful workes before the sonnes of men, ²² And let them offer sacrifices of praise, and declare his workes with reioycing. ²³ They that goe downe to the sea in ships, and occupie by the great waters, ²⁴ They see the woorkes of the Lord, and his wonders in the deepe. ²⁵ For he commaundeth and raiseth the stormie winde, and it lifteth vp the waues thereof. ²⁶ They mount vp to the heauen, and descend to ye deepe, so that their soule melteth for trouble. ²⁷ They are tossed to and from, and stagger like a drunken man, and all their cunning is gone. ²⁸ Then they crie vnto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresse. ²⁹ He turneth the storme to calme, so that the waues thereof are still. ³⁰ When they are quieted, they are glad, and hee bringeth them vnto the hauen, where they would be. ³¹ Let them therfore confesse before the Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men. ³² And let them exalt him in the Congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the Elders. ³³ He turneth the floodes into a wildernesse, and the springs of waters into drinesse, ³⁴ And a fruitfull land into barrennes for the wickednes of them that dwell therein. ³⁵ Againe hee turneth the wildernesse into pooles of water, and the drie lande into water springs. ³⁶ And there he placeth the hungrie, and they builde a citie to dwell in, ³⁷ And sowe the fieldes, and plant vineyardes, which bring foorth fruitfull increase. ³⁸ For he blesseth them, and they multiplie exceedingly, and he diminisheth not their cattell. ³⁹ Againe men are diminished, and brought lowe by oppression, euill and sorowe. ⁴⁰ He powreth contempt vpon princes, and causeth them to erre in desert places out of the way. ⁴¹ Yet he raiseth vp the poore out of miserie, and maketh him families like a flocke of sheepe. ⁴² The righteous shall see it, and reioyce, and all iniquitie shall stoppe her mouth. ⁴³ Who is wise that hee may obserue these things? for they shall vnderstand the louing kindnesse of the Lord.

⁸ It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in man.

² Beholde, God is my saluation: I will trust, and will not feare: for ye Lord God is my strength and song: he also is become my saluation.

²¹ Tell ye and bring them, and let them take counsell together, who hath declared this from the beginning? or hath tolde it of olde? Haue not I the Lord? and there is none other God beside me, a iust God, and a Sauiour: there is none beside me. ²² Looke vnto me, and ye shall be saued: all the endes of the earth shall be saued: for I am God, and there is none other.

¹⁰ Who is among you that feareth the Lord? let him heare the voyce of his seruant: hee that walketh in darkenesse, and hath no light, let him trust in the Name of the Lord, and staye vpon his God.

⁷ Blessed be the man, that trusteth in ye Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

²⁸ Wherefore Nebuchad-nezzar spake and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who hath sent his Angel, and deliuered his seruants, that put their trust in him, and haue changed the Kings commandement, and yeelded their bodies rather then they would serue or worship any god, saue their owne God.

⁷ The Lord is good and as a strong hold in the day of trouble, and he knoweth them that trust in him.

⁴³ He trusted in God, let him deliuer him nowe, if he will haue him: for he saide, I am the Sonne of God.

²⁹ The next day Iohn, seeth Iesus comming vnto him, and saith, Beholde that Lambe of God, which taketh away the sinne of the world.

¹⁵ That whosoeuer beleeueth in him, shoulde not perish, but haue eternall life. ¹⁶ For God so loued the worlde, that hee hath giuen his onely begotten Sonne, that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life. ¹⁷ For God sent not his Sonne into the world, that he should condemne the world, but that the world through him might be saued.

⁴² And they said vnto the woman, Nowe we beleeue, not because of thy saying: for we haue heard him our selues, and knowe that this is in deede that Christ the Sauiour of the world.

²⁴ Verely, verely I say vnto you, he that heareth my worde, and beleeueth him that sent me, hath euerlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but hath passed from death vnto life.

¹² And againe Esaias sayth, There shall be a roote of Iesse, and hee that shall rise to reigne ouer the Gentiles, in him shall the Gentiles trust. ¹³ Nowe the God of hope fill you with all ioye, and peace in beleeuing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the holy Ghost.

⁹ For I thinke that God hath set forth vs the last Apostles, as men appointed to death: for we are made a gasing stocke vnto the worlde, and to the Angels, and to men. ¹⁰ We are fooles for Christes sake, and ye are wise in Christ: we are weake, and ye are strong: ye are honourable, and we are despised. ¹¹ Vnto this houre we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and haue no certaine dwelling place, ¹² And labour, working with our owne handes: we are reuiled, and yet we blesse: we are persecuted, and suffer it. ¹³ We are euill spoken of, and we pray: we are made as the filth of the world, the offskowring of all things, vnto this time.

⁸ Wee are afflicted on euery side, yet are we not in distresse: we are in doubt, but yet wee despaire not. ⁹ We are persecuted, but not forsaken: cast downe, but we perish not. ¹⁰ Euery where we beare about in our bodie the dying of the Lord Iesus, that the life of Iesus might also be made manifest in our bodies.

³ We giue no occasion of offence in any thing, that our ministerie shoulde not be reprehended. ⁴ But in all things we approue our selues as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, ⁵ In stripes, in prisons, in tumults, in labours, ⁶ By watchings, by fastings, by puritie, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindnesse, by the holy Ghost, by loue vnfained, ⁷ By the worde of trueth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousnesse on the right hand, and on the left, ⁸ By honour, and dishonour, by euill report, and good report, as deceiuers, and yet true: ⁹ As vnknowen, and yet knowen: as dying, and beholde, we liue: as chastened, and yet not killed: ¹⁰ As sorowing, and yet alway reioycing: as poore, and yet make many riche: as hauing nothing, and yet possessing all things.

²³ They are the ministers of Christ (I speake as a foole) I am more: in labours more aboundant: in stripes aboue measure: in prison more plenteously: in death oft. ²⁴ Of the Iewes fiue times receiued I fourtie stripes saue one. ²⁵ I was thrise beaten with roddes: I was once stoned: I suffered thrise shipwracke: night and day haue I bene in the deepe sea. ²⁶ In iourneying I was often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of mine owne nation, in perils among the Gentiles, in perils in the citie, in perils in wildernes, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren, ²⁷ In wearinesse and painefulnesse, in watching often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in colde and in nakednesse.

⁴ Who will that all men shalbe saued, and come vnto the acknowledging of the trueth.

⁶ Who gaue himselfe a ransome for all men, to be that testimonie in due time,

¹⁵ But if I tary long, that thou maist yet know, how thou oughtest to behaue thy self in ye house of God, which is the Church of the liuing God, the pillar and ground of trueth.

¹⁷ Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, and that they trust not in vncertaine riches, but in the liuing God, (which giueth vs aboundantly, all things to enioy)

⁹ Wherein I suffer trouble as an euill doer, euen vnto bondes: but the worde of God is not bounde. ¹⁰ Therefore I suffer all things, for the elects sake, that they might also obtaine the saluation which is in Christ Iesus, with eternall glorie.

¹⁰ But thou hast fully knowen my doctrine, maner of liuing, purpose, faith, long suffering, loue, patience, ¹¹ Persecutions, and afflictions which came vnto me at Antiochia, at Iconium, and at Lystri, which persecutions I suffered: but from them all the Lord deliuered me. ¹² Yea, and all that will liue godly in Christ Iesus, shall suffer persecution.

²⁶ Esteeming the rebuke of Christ greater riches then the treasures of Egypt: for he had respect vnto the recompence of the reward.

¹³ Let vs goe foorth to him therefore out of the campe, bearing his reproch.

²¹ Which by his meanes doe beleeue in God that raised him from the dead, and gaue him glorie, that your faith and hope might bee in God,

¹⁴ If yee be railed vpon for the Name of Christ, blessed are ye: for the spirit of glory, and of God resteth vpon you: which on their part is euill spoken of: but on your part is glorified. ¹⁵ But let none of you suffer as a murtherer, or as a thiefe, or an euil doer, or as a busibodie in other mens matters.

² And he is the reconciliation for our sinnes: and not for ours onely, but also for the sinnes of the whole world.

¹⁴ And we haue seene, and doe testifie, that the Father sent that Sonne to be ye Sauiour of the world.

¹⁰ He that beleeueth in that Sonne of God, hath the witnes in himselfe: he that beleeueth not God, hath made him a lyar, because he beleeued not ye record, that God witnessed of that his Sonne. ¹¹ And this is that record, to wit, that God hath giuen vnto vs eternall life, and this life is in that his Sonne. ¹² He that hath that Sonne, hath that life: and he that hath not that Sonne of God, hath not that life. ¹³ These things haue I written vnto you, that beleeue in the Name of that Sonne of God, that ye may knowe that ye haue eternall life, and that ye may beleeue in the Name of that Sonne of God.
