¹¹ For hee knoweth vaine men, and seeth iniquitie, and him that vnderstandeth nothing. ¹² Yet vaine man would be wise, though man new borne is like a wilde asse colte.

¹ Why doe the heathen rage, and the people murmure in vaine?

²¹ Because that when they knewe God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankefull, but became vaine in their thoughtes, and their foolish heart was full of darkenesse.

⁸ Beware lest there be any man that spoile you through philosophie, and vaine deceit, through the traditions of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
