² Euery first day of the weeke, let euery one of you put aside by himselfe, and lay vp as God hath prospered him, that then there be no gatherings when I come.

¹² Afterwarde Izhak sowed in that lande, and founde in the same yeere an hundreth folde by estimation: and so the Lord blessed him.

²⁷ To whom Laban answered, If I haue nowe found fauour in thy sight tarie: I haue perceiued that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake.

³⁰ For the litle, that thou haddest before I came, is increased into a multitude: and the Lord hath blessed thee by my comming: but nowe when shall I trauell for mine owne house also?

¹⁰ I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and al the trueth, which thou hast shewed vnto thy seruant: for with my staffe came I ouer this Iorden, and now haue I gotte two bads.

¹¹ I pray thee take my blessing, that is brought thee: for God hath had mercie on me, and therefore I haue all things: so he compelled him, and he tooke it.

¹⁸ But remember the Lord thy God: for it is he which giueth thee power to get substance to establish his couenant which he sware vnto thy fathers, as appeareth this day.

¹¹ Because there shall be euer some poore in the land, therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand vnto thy brother, to thy needie, and to thy poore in thy land. ¹² If thy brother an Ebrewe sell himselfe to thee, or an Ebrewesse, and serue thee sixe yeere, euen in the seuenth yeere thou shalt let him goe free from thee: ¹³ And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him goe away emptie, ¹⁴ But shalt giue him a liberall reward of thy sheepe, and of thy corne, and of thy wine: thou shalt giue him of that wherewith the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.

¹⁰ And Azariah the chiefe Priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and sayde, Since the people beganne to bring the offrings into the house of the Lord, we haue eaten and haue bene satisfied, and there is left in abundance: for the Lord hath blessed his people, and this abundance that is left.

¹⁶ And nowe, I pray you, consider in your mindes: from this day, and afore, euen afore a stone was layde vpon a stone in the Temple of the Lord: ¹⁷ Before these things were, when one came to an heape of twentie measures, there were but ten: when one came to the wine presse for to drawe out fiftie vessels out of the presse, there were but twentie. ¹⁸ I smote you with blasting, and with mildewe, and with haile, in all the labours of your hands: yet you turned not to me, saith the Lord. ¹⁹ Consider, I pray you, in your mindes, from this day, and afore from the foure and twentieth day of the ninth moneth, euen from the day that the foundation of the Lords Temple was laide: consider it in your mindes.

⁹ Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye haue spoyled me, euen this whole nation. ¹⁰ Bring ye all the tythes into the storehouse that there may be meate in mine House, and proue me nowe herewith, sayeth the Lord of hostes, if I will not open the windowes of heauen vnto you, and powre you out a blessing without measure.

⁴¹ And as Iesus sate ouer against the treasurie, he beheld how the people cast money into the treasurie, and many rich men cast in much. ⁴² And there came a certaine poore widowe, and she threw in two mites, which make a quadrin. ⁴³ Then he called vnto him his disciples, and said vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, that this poore widowe hath cast more in, then all they which haue cast into the treasurie. ⁴⁴ For they all did cast in of their superfluitie: but she of her pouertie did cast in all that she had, euen all her liuing.

⁸ She hath done that she coulde: she came afore hand to anoynt my body to the burying.

¹⁰ He that is faithfull in the least, hee is also faithful in much: and he that is vniust in the least, is vniust also in much.

¹ Nowe the first day of the weeke early in the morning, they came vnto the sepulchre, and brought the odours, which they had prepared, and certaine women with them.

¹⁹ The same day then at night, which was the first day of the weeke, and when the doores were shut where the disciples were assembled for feare of the Iewes, came Iesus and stoode in the middes, and saide to them, Peace be vnto you.

²⁶ And eight dayes after, againe his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Then came Iesus, when the doores were shut, and stood in the middes, and said, Peace be vnto you.

⁷ And the first day of the weeke, the disciples being come together to breake bread, Paul preached vnto them, ready to depart on the morrow, and continued the preaching vnto midnight.

¹ We doe you also to wit, brethren, of the grace of God bestowed vpon the Churches of Macedonia, ² Because in great triall of affliction their ioy abounded, and their most extreme pouertie abounded vnto their rich liberalitie. ³ For to their power (I beare record) yea, and beyonde their power, they were willing,

¹¹ Nowe therefore performe to doe it also, that as there was a readinesse to will, euen so yee may performe it of that which yee haue. ¹² For if there be first a willing minde, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. ¹³ Neither is it that other men should be eased and you grieued: But vpon like condition, at this time your abundance supplieth their lacke: ¹⁴ That also their aboundance may bee for your lacke, that there may be equalitie: ¹⁵ As it is written, Hee that gathered much, had nothing ouer, and hee that gathered litle, had not the lesse.

³ Nowe haue I sent the brethren, lest our reioycing ouer you shoulde bee in vaine in this behalfe, that yee (as I haue sayde) be readie: ⁴ Lest if they of Macedonia come with me, and finde you vnprepared, we (that wee may not say, you) should be ashamed in this my constant boasting. ⁵ Wherefore, I thought it necessarie to exhort the brethren to come before vnto you, and to finish your beneuolence appointed afore, that it might be readie, and come as of beneuolence, and not as of niggardlinesse.

¹⁰ And I was rauished in spirit on the Lordes day, and heard behinde me a great voyce, as it had bene of a trumpet,
