⁶ Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.

⁸ And a path and a way shall be there, and it shall be called the holy way: the unclean shall not pass over it, and this shall be unto you a straight way, so that fools shall not err therein. ⁹ No lion shall be there, nor shall any mischievous beast go up by it, nor be found there: but they shall walk there that shall be delivered.

²⁷ All things are delivered to me by my Father. And no one knoweth the Son but the Father: neither doth any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom it shall please the Son to reveal him.

⁴ In him was life: and the life was the light of men.

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we saw his glory, the glory as it were of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.

¹⁷ For the law was given by Moses: grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

²¹ For as the Father raiseth up the dead and giveth life: so the Son also giveth life to whom he will.

¹⁵ But the author of life you killed, whom God hath raised from the dead: of which we are witnesses.

¹² Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved.

² By whom also we have access through faith into this grace wherein we stand: and glory in the hope of the glory of the sons of God.

²¹ That as sin hath reigned to death: so also grace might reign by justice unto life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

⁸ For I say that Christ Jesus was minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: ⁹ But that the Gentiles are to glorify God for his mercy, as it is written: Therefore will I confess to thee, O Lord, among the Gentiles and will sing to thy name.

¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles: sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost.

⁴⁵ The first man Adam was made into a living soul; the last Adam into a quickening spirit.

¹⁹ For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, by me and Sylvanus and Timothy, was not: It is and It is not. But, It is, was in him. ²⁰ For all the promises of God are in him, It is. Therefore also by him, amen to God, unto our glory.

¹⁹ Having therefore, brethren, a confidence in the entering into the holies by the blood of Christ: ²⁰ A new and living way which he hath dedicated for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh: ²¹ And a high priest over the house of God: ²² Let us draw near with a true heart, in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with clean water.

²¹ Who through him are faithful in God who raised him up from the dead and hath given him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God.

⁴ Unto whom coming, as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men but chosen and made honourable by God:

¹⁸ Because Christ also died once for our sins, the just for the unjust: that he might offer us to God, being put to death indeed in the flesh, but enlivened in the spirit,

¹ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and our hands have handled, of the word of life. ² For the life was manifested: and we have seen and do bear witness and declare unto you the life eternal, which was with the Father and hath appeared to us.

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

²³ Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father. He that confesseth the Son hath the Father also.

⁶ This is he that came by water and blood, Jesus Christ: not by water only but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit which testifieth that Christ is the truth.

¹¹ And this is the testimony that God hath given to us eternal life. And this life is in his Son. ¹² He that hath the Son hath life. He that hath not the Son hath not life.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God is come. And he hath given us understanding that we may know the true God and may be in his true Son. This is the true God and life eternal.

⁹ Whosoever revolteth and continueth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine, the same hath both the Father and the Son.

⁵ And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth, who hath loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood

⁷ And to the angel of the church of Philadelphia write: These things saith the Holy One and the true one, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and no man shutteth, shutteth and no man openeth:

¹⁴ And to the angel of the church of Laodicea write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, who is the beginning of the creation of God:

⁸ And when he had opened the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty ancients fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. ⁹ And they sung a new canticle, saying: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to take the book and to open the seals thereof: because thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God, in thy blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation:

⁹ After this, I saw a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and in sight of the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. ¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying: Salvation to our God, who sitteth upon the throne and to the Lamb. ¹¹ And all the angels stood round about the throne and the ancients and the four living creatures. And they fell down before the throne upon their faces and adored God, ¹² Saying: Amen. Benediction and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving, honour and power and strength, to our God, for ever and ever. Amen. ¹³ And one of the ancients answered and said to me: These that are clothed in white robes, who are they? And whence came they? ¹⁴ And I said to him: My Lord, thou knowest. And he said to me: These are they who are come out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Therefore, they are before the throne of God: and they serve him day and night in his temple. And he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell over them. ¹⁶ They shall no more hunger nor thirst: neither shall the sun fall on them, nor any heat. ¹⁷ For the Lamb, which is in the midst of the throne, shall rule them and shall lead them to the fountains of the waters of life: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

⁷ And it was given unto him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And power was given him over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. ⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth adored him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb which was slain from the beginning of the world.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened: and behold a white horse. And he that sat upon him was called faithful and true: and with justice doth he judge and fight.

¹⁵ And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the pool of fire.

¹ And he shewed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹⁷ And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come. And he that will, let him take the water of life, freely.
