⁴⁶ And Paul and Barnabas, having spoken boldly, said, “It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken first to you. But since you thrust it away and do not judge yourselves worthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.

⁶ But go rather to those being the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

¹³ And if indeed the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. ¹⁴ And whoever will not receive you nor will hear your words, shake off the dust of your feet going forth out of that house or that city! ¹⁵ Truly I say to you, on the day of judgment, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and of Gomorrah than for that city.

⁴³ Because of this I say to you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a people producing its fruits.

⁶ And the rest, having laid hold of his servants, mistreated and killed them. ⁷ And the king was angry, and having sent his armies, he destroyed those murderers and burned their city. ⁸ Then he says to his servants, ‘Indeed the wedding feast is ready, but those having been invited were not worthy. ⁹ Therefore go into the thoroughfares of the highways, and invite to the wedding feast as many as you shall find.’ ¹⁰ And those servants, having gone out into the highways, brought together all, as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall became full of those reclining.

¹⁶ But He said to him, “A certain man was preparing a great supper, and invited many. ¹⁷ And at the hour of the supper, he sent his servant to say to those having been invited, ‘Come, for now it is ready.’ ¹⁸ And all with one voice began to excuse themselves. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a field, and I have need, going out, to see it. I beg of you, hold me excused.’ ¹⁹ And another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to prove them. I beg of you, hold me excused.’ ²⁰ And another said, ‘I have married a wife, and because of this I am not able to come.’ ²¹ And the servant having come, reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, having become angry, said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and crippled and blind and lame.’ ²² And the servant said, ‘Sir, as you did command, it has been done, and there is still room.’ ²³ And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled. ²⁴ For I say to all of you that not one of those men having been invited will taste my supper.’”

⁴⁷ and repentance and forgiveness of sins to be proclaimed in His name to all nations, having begun from Jerusalem.

²⁹ And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to Your servants to speak Your word with all boldness, ³⁰ in that You stretch out Your hand for healing and signs and wonders to take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.” ³¹ And they having prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and were speaking the word of God with boldness.

⁵¹ You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, also do you.

⁵ And having come into Salamis, they began proclaiming the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. And they also had John as a helper.

¹⁴ Now having passed through from Perga, they came to Antioch of Pisidia, and having gone into the synagogue on the day of the Sabbaths, they sat down.

²⁶ Men, brothers, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you fearing God, to us the message of this salvation has been sent.

⁵ Now when both Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was occupied with the word, earnestly testifying to the Jews Jesus to be the Christ. ⁶ But of them opposing and reviling him, having shaken out the garments, he said to them, “Your blood be upon your head; I am clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

²¹ And He said to me, ‘Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

²⁰ but both first to those in Damascus and Jerusalem, and all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, I kept declaring to repent and to turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

²⁸ Therefore be it known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!”

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone believing—both to Jewish first, and to Greek.

¹⁰ but glory and honor and peace to everyone doing good, both to Jewish first, and to Greek.

⁴ who are Israelites, whose is the divine adoption as sons, and the glory, and the covenants, and the lawgiving, and the service, and the promises; ⁵ whose are the patriarchs; and from whom is Christ according to the flesh, being God over all, blessed to the ages. Amen.

¹⁹ But I ask, did Israel not know? First, Moses says: “I will provoke you to jealousy by those not a nation; I will anger you by a nation without understanding.” ²⁰ And Isaiah is very bold and says: “I was found by those not seeking Me; I became manifest to those not inquiring after Me.” ²¹ But as for Israel he says: “All the day I have stretched out My hands to a disobeying and contradicting people.”

¹¹ I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? Never may it be! But in their trespass is salvation to the Gentiles, so as to provoke them to jealousy. ¹² But if their trespass is the riches of the world, and their failure is the riches of the Gentiles, how much more their fullness! ¹³ Now I am speaking to you the Gentiles. Therefore indeed inasmuch as I am apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

¹⁹ and also for me, that in the opening of my mouth, divine utterance may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may be bold, as it behooves me to speak.

¹⁴ and most of the brothers, trusting in the Lord by my chains, to dare more abundantly to speak fearlessly the word.

³⁴ quenched the power of fire, escaped the mouths of the sword; acquired strength out of weakness, became mighty in war, put to flight foreign armies.
