²⁹ He who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices with joy because of the bridegroom's voice. This therefore my joy is fulfilled.

¹⁰ And his father went down to the woman, and Samson made a feast there, for so the young men used to do. ¹¹ And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.

⁹ Kings' daughters are among thy honorable women. At thy right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir. ¹⁰ Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear. Forget also thine own people, and thy father's house. ¹¹ So will the king desire thy beauty, for he is thy lord, and reverence thou him. ¹² And the daughter of Tyre shall adore him with a gift. The rich among the people shall entreat thy favor. ¹³ Inside, the king's daughter is all glorious. Her clothing is embroidered with gold. ¹⁴ She shall be led to the king in broidered work. The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to thee. ¹⁵ With gladness and rejoicing they shall be led. They shall enter into the king's palace. ¹⁶ Instead of thy fathers shall be thy sons, whom thou shall make rulers in all the earth. ¹⁷ I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations. Therefore the peoples shall give thee thanks forever and ever.

¹¹ Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown with which his mother has crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.

⁸ Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, with me from Lebanon. Look from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards. ⁹ Thou have ravished my heart, my sister, my bride. Thou have ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck. ¹⁰ How fair is thy love, my sister, my bride! How much better is thy love than wine, and the fragrance of thine oils than all manner of spices! ¹¹ Thy lips, O my bride, drop the honeycomb. Honey and milk are under thy tongue, and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon. ¹² A garden shut up is my sister, my bride, a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

¹ I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride. I have gathered my myrrh with my spice. I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey. I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends. Drink, yea. Drink abundantly, O beloved.

⁵ For thy maker is thy husband. LORD of hosts is his name. And the Holy One of Israel is thy Redeemer. He shall be called the God of the whole earth.

⁴ Thou shall no more be termed Forsaken, nor shall thy land any more be termed Desolate. But thou shall be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah, for LORD delights in thee, and thy land shall be married. ⁵ For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee. And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

¹¹ that ye may nurse and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations, that ye may get milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

² Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says LORD, I remember for thee the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, how thou went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

⁸ Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love. And I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness. Yea, I swore to thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, says the lord LORD, and thou became mine.

¹⁹ And I will betroth thee to me forever. Yea, I will betroth thee to me in righteousness, and in justice, and in loving kindness, and in mercies.

¹⁵ And Jesus said to them, The sons of the wedding hall cannot mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them. But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

² The kingdom of the heavens is like a man, a king who made a wedding for his son.

¹ Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who, having taken their lamps, went forth to the bridegroom's gathering.

¹⁰ And the agent said to them, Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be to all the people, ¹¹ because to you was born today in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ Lord. ¹² And this is the sign to you: Ye will find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a feed trough. ¹³ And suddenly there came to be with the agent a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, ¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill among men.

⁶ And when he comes to the house, he calls together his men friends and his men neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, because I have found my sheep that was lost.

²⁴ Until now ye have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and ye will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

¹³ And now I come to thee. And I speak these things in the world, so that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.

² For I am jealous for you with a jealousy of God. For I betrothed you to one husband, a pure virgin to present to the Christ.

²⁵ Husbands, love your own wives even as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it, ²⁶ so that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it with the washing of water by the word, ²⁷ so that he might present it to himself, the glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and unblemished.

² fulfill my joy, that ye may think the same way, having the same love, being knit in soul, thinking in oneness,

⁴ And we write these things to you, so that our joy may be made full.

¹² Having many things, I did not want to write to you by paper and ink, but I hope to come to you, and to speak mouth to mouth, so that our joy may be filled.

⁷ We should be glad and rejoice and give the glory to him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has prepared herself. ⁸ And it was given her that she clothe herself in fine linen, bright and pure. For the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the sanctified. ⁹ And he says to me, Write, Blessed are those who have been called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb. And he says to me, These are the true sayings of God.

⁹ And there came one of the seven agents who had the seven bowls containing the seven last plagues, and he spoke with me, saying, Come, I will show thee the woman, the bride of the Lamb.
