¹⁸ And having come near, Jesus spake to them, saying, `Given to me was all authority in heaven and on earth; ¹⁹ having gone, then, disciple all the nations, (baptizing them—to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all, whatever I did command you,) and lo, I am with you all the days—till the full end of the age.'

⁴ `Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah; ⁵ and thou hast loved Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, ⁶ and these words which I am commanding thee to-day have been on thine heart, ⁷ and thou hast repeated them to thy sons, and spoken of them in thy sitting in thine house, and in thy walking in the way, and in thy lying down, and in thy rising up, ⁸ and hast bound them for a sign upon thy hand, and they have been for frontlets between thine eyes, ⁹ and thou hast written them on door-posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

¹³ till I come, give heed to the reading, to the exhortation, to the teaching;

² preach the word; be earnest in season, out of season, convict, rebuke, exhort, in all long-suffering and teaching,

¹ Many teachers become not, my brethren, having known that greater judgment we shall receive,

²³ and the foolish and uninstructed questions be avoiding, having known that they beget strife, ²⁴ and a servant of the Lord it behoveth not to strive, but to be gentle unto all, apt to teach, patient under evil, ²⁵ in meekness instructing those opposing—if perhaps God may give to them repentance to an acknowledging of the truth, ²⁶ and they may awake out of the devil's snare, having been caught by him at his will.

¹⁶ every Writing is God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for setting aright, for instruction that is in righteousness, ¹⁷ that the man of God may be fitted—for every good work having been completed.
