Mark 12:41-44

41 And as Jesus was sitting over against the treasury, He saw how the people threw money into the treasury, and many of the rich put in much; 42 and there came a poor widow and put in two mites, that is, a farthing. 43 And He called his disciples to Him, and saith unto them, Verily I tell you, that this poor widow has given more than all those who have cast into the treasury. 44 For they all have contributed out of their abundance: but she out of her penury hath given all that she had, even her whole living.

John 3:16-17

16 For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him might not perish, but have everlasting life: 17 for God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved by Him.

Matthew 6:1-4
